Version 2.0 (ESPFE) available! I've decided to convert all my mods to ESPFE (ESL-flagged ESP) versions wherever possible. This means these mods will no longer take up a slot in your load order. Please follow the instructions below if you wish to update during a running game. If you're starting a new game, just install and enjoy.
I've also decided to only offer BSA versions from now on. If you need or want a version with loose files, download the Bethesda Archive Extractor and just extract the files from the BSA.
To update during a running game:
While in the game, create a Full Save (Not a Quick Save).
Quit your game to desktop.
Disable the old version of Bandit Makeover - Female Edition in your mod manager.
Restart your game.
The game will tell you that the OPs Bandit Makeover - Female Edition.esp is missing and ask if you wish to continue. Just hit Enter (should automatically be on Yes).
Create another Full Save (NOT a Quick Save).
Quit the game to desktop.
Enable the new version of Bandit Makeover - Female Edition.
Is there any way to have the hair color randomly given to the bandits rather than just using pre-made hairs out of a list, like this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/80425
wishing that theres a way to integrate it to oregon's makeover since i found this is the only good looking makeover kudos to the devs of this mod
thanks so much for your series :) certainly brings something refreshing to get rid of the dull old skyrim faces. i tried starting to make a patch for Lawless but realized after a while that it replaces some templates (to use newly added bandits) causing the black face bug as the facegen data is obviously missing for the new npcs. is there any chance you may be interested in creating a lawless patch in the future?
Thanks for the mod again and looking through your comments amazing how much time you take to answer to almost every comment of the community!
Yes, creating patches isn't always as easy as some people might assume. I'm afraid I don't use Lawless, but feel free to go ahead with the patch. I'm sure you can get it to work somehow. Just need to ensure you have all dependencies covered.
This is a great mod, slaying bandits has never been better. Do you have any suggestions on how to resolve conflicts with OBIS, or which should load first? I get conflicts darkface with : EncBandit06MagicNordF, EncBandit05Boss1HNordF, EncBandit05Boss1HImperialF, EncBandit04Boss1HRedguardF, EncBandit04Boss1HNordF
i tried placing your mod before and after OBIS in mod manager, same errors.
Sorry guys, but I don't use OBIS, so I can't really help out here. If you get Black Face, it means there are conflicts, either in the ESPs or with the resources. Meaning The Bandit Makeover's ESP probably needs to be loaded AFTER OBIS, and the Bandit Makeover resources (i.e. FaceGen meshes and textures) need to be loaded AFTER OBIS resources. If that still doesn't help, someone would have to make a patch. You have my full permission to create and upload a patch to the Nexus, just don't forget to credit me.
My OBIS mod is at priority 114 and Oregon Pete's Bandit Makeover - Female Edition is at 343. The plugins for those mods: OBIS SE.esp is at 65, OPs Bandit Makeover - Female Edition.esp is at priority 328. So, I'm loading all your resources and esp's after all of OBIS's. Seems like a patch might be needed. (Not that the bandits ever survive long enough for me to hit them with the Dark Face Fix Spell SSE (Nexis mod 33709))
No, this is a makeover of the female bandits in Skyrim Special Edition. They (and the locations where they are) don't exist in Enderal, so you'll probably get a CTD.
Sorry, for some reason, I didn't see this until now. The ESPs are called the same for both KS Hairdos versions (KS Hairdo's.esp), so that shouldn't be an issue. But just the female should do fine. Let me know if there are any issues.
Thank you. Now my battles are more cute. Don't worry, they respawn <3 I loved your normal enemy girls series, like this mod here. In my opinion it would be interesting if some of them still had warpaints because it's part of the culture and it makes them more immersive.
