The Low Down:

Long story short I wanted a run through with Bells of Skyrim (BoS) and Capital Windhelm Expansion (CWE). After scrolling posts it didn't seem like this was magically going to happen so I took Surjamte's advice and decided to give the patch a go myself, CK here I come.

The end game is these two mods are working in harmony in the near future. If this works only as a base for improvement or ideas to be enhanced on so be it, I'll download that version and be on my way.

The Patch:

- Removes the BoS tower and ladders in Windhelm.
- Repositions the bell and rod on to the east landing near the Guard Barracks.
- Repositions and scales the two dragon statues from the front gate entrance for the bell rod pillars.
- Repositioned and tested a number of patrol, idle and lean markers in vicinity of the bell, barracks and fighting pit entrance.
- Adjusted and tested navmesh around bell and added a collision marker to prevent guards 'riding the bell' and getting stuck at pillars.
- Removed some of the excess snow now its a thoroughfare.
- Placed one of the idle markers just back from the recruitment table.

Installation:
- New game recommended.
- Install with your favourite Mod Manager.

Load Order (plugins as tested):
- All DLC
- USSEP
- SkyUI
- WindhelmSSE
- BoS
- CWE_Windhelm - BoS Patch
- BoS - Alternate Solitude
- BoS - Reduced Volume
- iHUD
- Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (ICAIO)
- BoS - ICAIO Patch
- Alternate Start Live Another Life

Compatibility:
There is a lot going on in recent Nexus events so I kept it simple to start. More to follow.

Cutting Room Floor - Tested, no issues found.
Dawn of Skyrim - Directors Cut SE with DoS - Unoffical Patch - ORD (using BoS Patch) - Tested, no issues found.

Permissions:
Copy, cut, chop, slice, dice, peel this patch to your heart's content; you don't have to ask me. Apply the basic laws of credit for myself and more importantly the original mod authors.

Note - I did not create any new assets, any assets must be credited to the respective mod authors.

Support:
As this is my first mod/patch I'm just keen for constructive feedback, shout out or even an endorsement if you like it and it's working.

If anyone wants to help especially other patching authors it would be appreciated, particularly on the testing side post civil war with the Imperials.

Disclaimer:
As this is my first patch I don't recommend any of the following at least for Version 1.0:
- Using on an existing game save
- Using on a new long run through
- Using on an existing long run through.

I don't want you to snap your game just to get a bell to ring. I want that ring to be sweet battle immersion not Muay Thai screen boxing in anger, have patience err on the side of caution if not sure.

Please have a play before hand and see if it is good for your mod list. If a more credentialed mod author states something in the comments I would probably take their word over mine.

Lastly it goes with out saying this work does not represent the credited mod authors and Bethesda and nor of me once its edited.

Future:
Other than this I'm just trying to fix issues I had on my last mod build.

I'm a big fan of ClefJ's Winterhold and had about 10 simple mods that expanded on that but didn't play nice with heavy overrides, clipping and navmeshes etc. so I will probably take a look at that.
