The Containment quest is edited both by this mod and by the Dead Dunmer Delivery plugin from the 'Misc. College of Winterhold Tweaks' mod. If I create a patch that merges the two changes in TesEdit (they both change a different Alias in the Containment quest), will it break either of the mods?
This mod just saved my playthrough. Containment Quest wouldn't start. I tried a few things to see if the quest would start, but nothing was working. Something was off in my playthrough since I didn't see Faralda or Colette around the College. Found this mod and tried it out, problem solved instantly.
Thank you for this mod and for your many other mods!
Hello, I'm from the future. Yes, there is one conflict for the Staff of Magnus quest which is edited by Savos Aren's Regret. LOOT gives priority to this mod, but that creates 7 errors for the Savos Aren's Regret mod. Perhaps you could merge edits from both mods to solve the conflict.
Personally what I did was copy the changes (in the "The Staff of Magnus" entry) from this mod to the Savos Aren's Regret mod and removed the Staff of Magnus quest entry from this mod.
I installed this fix a while ago, I wanna thank You for it!
BUT: Just found out it's been absorbed by USSEP and is recommended to be uninstalled where otherwise used alongside it. Please indicate this on the desc page <3

I've been using this mode since day one on vanilla Skyrim. Until now : how does this play with At Your Own Pace, where the progression is controlled via added dialogue and skill level requirement ? I know there is a thin line between the two approaches but I can't tell.
The answer on AYOP forum is "It works fine with Misc. College of Winterhold Tweaks. Not with College of Winterhold Quest Start Fixes as AYOP changes College entry." - to save anyone else trawling through two pages!
Greetings , Love your mods , If I am running At Your own Pace -College of Winterhold , should I uninstall in this mod? or are they compatible with each other ?
Hi, I can't find any instructions on where to install this or how. I'll just keep looking and see if I can find something else that might help with these borken quests. Thanks.
Looks like this is meant to be installed with Vortex or Mod Organizer. I usually manually install my mods, so based on what I can see of the file contents...
If you're using the Cutting Room Floor mod, you'll want to use this file in this folder: crf\College of Winterhold Quest Start Fixes.esp
If you're not using Cutting Room Floor, you'll want to use: regular\College of Winterhold Quest Start Fixes.esp
Choose one and drop it into your Data directory, then enable it. You can enable in in Vortex, Mod Organizer, Wrye Bash, or the old-fashioned way, of locating plugins.txt in your AppData folder and adding *College of Winterhold Quest Start Fixes.esp to the list. If you're inexperienced I'd recommend one of the mod managers.

Old message: "Could u give us some examples of fixes this mod includes that are not included in USSEP?"
This mod also has a CRF patch -- but I don't use CRF (purely for compatibility reasons) so I can't say more about it.

Dang, looks like wskeever saw your comment and had this fix removed from USMP.

EDIT for the curious : I got the answer on AYOP.
