Just started using this along with 'Fabulous Familiars' and it seems the version here was made prior to version 1.2+ (at least from what that mods' change log says), as there are a number of familiars that don't have corresponding override records for them, and I noticed in my testing that they didn't have the effect. I am unsure as to how (if possible given my limited skills) I could try and update/patch this. You're probably already aware but thought I'd post just in case. Thanks btw, the effect is really nice.
Hi there, sorry to bother you, but for some reason the Spectral Sabre Cat from Mysticism doesn't get the new visuals. I checked in xEdit and nothing is overwriting anything from this mod, and the Sabre Cat looks to be set up the same way as all the others, but it still shows up with the ghostly visuals in game.
No, I'm afraid. It means I have to get started creating 3 new families of spirit animals to do the job. Thanks for reminding me though, I wasn't aware of this update.
Is the effect on the radiant familiars from Fabulous Familiars the same as the one you used for the familiars from Patronus Expanded? If not, is it possible to swap them or would that cause issues?
It depends, what characteristic of the Patronus Expanded animals draws you?
You're right, I did use a different texture for the Patronus animals. If it is the texture, then you can easily swap them without difficulty. If it is the glowing light within them, then that is something else. Option2 added a light source to his familiars, so that would be more complicated to transfer.
Hmm, I'm not sure which it is. It might be both together that makes them look so good. It's probably not worth the effort to change, so I won't bother asking for help.
I can do what I can on my end. I can release a file that provides an alternative texture set for radiant and ghost familiars. It won't need another esp, so you'll at least have them.
If you use Savage Skyrim (Which you should), this will revert all familiars to their vanilla meshes-- meaning familiars now all have a custom mesh used by nothing else in the game =)

Thank you for your open permission.
So long as the actor cat is equipped with the new mesh it should all be fine, unless it summoned a new one?
The only explanation I have is that some mod must be interfering and perhaps replacing the sabrecat actor with another.
The files are now tagged as ESLs.
