About this mod

This mod fixes the Double Controller bug that is persistent in Skyrim VR.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod hopefully fixes but the bug depicted in the top picture. If you are not familiar with the bug, in menus you can see a vive wand over your controller controller (picture 1) and then ingame you can permanently see your controller (picture 2). Also ignore how washed out my screenshots are, the pictures were dark so I brightened it lol

NOTE:
A mod author by the name of samv/creekdipper has created an alternative solution to this bug, which makes the model invisible rather than removing it. I haven't tested it myself as I don't have Skyrim VR anymore but the author stands by it, it may be worth trying that mod over this one especially if your game is crashing with my mod. Link to their mod here!

This attempts to fix the bug by removing the model for SkyrimVRs Vive Wand (which are no longer used as controllers are now managed by SteamVR), for some reason this seems to completely fix the bug with no unintentional side effects. My theory for how this mod works is that it possibly stops SkyrimVR from searching for the model and accidentally using it alongside the SteamVR models, causing this issue.

I'm pretty certain this mod works, as I stopped using this mod and the bug instantly started to return in full, so it's safe to say it works. Unconfirmed whether it works for Oculus/OpenVR users as well, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

WARNING:
Can cause a CTD on launch for some reason, haven't really found a fix or reason why yet :/ It can sometimes work for a while and then making a change to your modlist can cause it to crash, it's good to check in every now and then and see if it works with your modlist again because sometimes it will suddenly stop crashing your game. This mod is built on magic and magic doesn't always work
