I'm very excited to bring you this mod! Have you ever wanted a traveling cart of your very own? I'm guessing yes! Because you are here :-)

So let's get to the action!   Please watch the video for a short demonstration.

This is a traveling cart player micro home - basically it is a cart that you can pull around with a horse and when activated you go to an interior worldspace i.e. your micro-home! I was inspired by the mod Gypsy Eyes Caravan (still a great mod!! but no port to SE) but instead of running a script to make the home open up I used an interior worldspace teleport (what this does is save immense processing power so it works on less than stellar rigs with 0 lag!). Every single element of this mod is the highest mesh/texture I could find (which is OK even if you have a lower end computer, trust me! I originally had a very old computer and ran this no problem), all the resources that were used to make this mod were either free modding resources or I got express permission from the original mod authors (credits below).

So how does it work? You can find the cart originally right outside the Whiterun stables (there's no story line as of yet that's something I'd like to do in the future though)You will be able to hook the cart up to the horse by walking up to the cart and accessing the menu, you can go inside, tether Sunchaser (the custom-made horse based off the horses from horse renewal, YW) or ride him (it will teleport you to the horse, fyi, no matter how far away you are). To unhook the horse access the menu again and choose 'Tether Sunchaser' again, this will unhook him. You can go inside the cart at any point whether or not he is tethered. Followers can't make their way into the cart (there's no room anyway!) but yes I made it so only the player can enter. I like using mods like AFT where they set up camp outside and it feels like a true gypsy life lol.

I have made the cart intentionally micro because #1) Havok engine.... need I say more?? #2) it fits easily on roads and under bridges #3) I wanted to avoid the 'harry potter magic tent effect' of going inside a place and its much much bigger - I am a person that values realism highly so I didn't want that.

Without a horse follower mod like Immersive Horses or Convenient horses, you can only have 1 horse at a time, If you ride another horse Sunchaser will turn around and walk back to spawn - see the known issues below to find out why that's an issue.

This isn't really a beta (as I have used this mod in my own game for some time now and know what the issues are, I completely re-did the inside mesh and decided to upload it) and sadly even though I know what the issues are, I am not expert enough to fix them :-( I am hoping someone will see this mod and want to work on it with me because I would love to smooth out the rough edges!

*******Update*******

I have just uploaded a version (V4) that is FULLY COMPATIBLE with BOTH Immersive Horses and Convenient Horses!!!!

You may have to start a new game for CH to recognize the changes, alternatively I have seen reports that using the console command to change the horses faction back and forth is a workaround to this known issue. Once CH recognizes him as a horse it work seamlessly, but remember do not use horse call when he is attached to the cart (same goes for immersive horses).

This mod is NOT COMPATIBLE with mods like 'go to bed' (I shrunk the bed mesh a little too much I guess lol, but I've never used those mods so I didn't know it was a problem, but since I like how the bed is I will likely not make a fix )

*****************************************PLEASE READ< KNOWN ISSUES>*********************************************************

First off, this mod is actually highly compatible! I have yet to find a mod that affects it in any way because of the way I made it. It runs seamlessly with Frostfall and other overhaul mods as well as horse and follower mods.

1) I can't figure out how to add a map marker to the cart, I highly recommend using Jaxonz map marker mod because the cart does get lost sometimes.... more on that later.  Find that mod here <<<< https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/14580 >>>>>>>

2) When the horse is attached to the cart and following you, if you go too far ahead of the horse, the cart will detach from the horse. It has something to do with loading new areas, never been able to figure it out, I would recommend just riding the horse where you need to go and not having them follow you. If you want them to follow you, just don't go too far ahead.

3) ABSOLUTELY do not fast travel with the horse in any way while the cart is connected to the horse, the cart will shoot straight up in the sky and you will have to reload; this includes mods like convenient horses and the horn call for the horse and whatever. I mostly turn off fast travel anyway so it's not a big deal to me I just carry it with me or I have the horse unattached to the cart if for some reason I do fast travel/use a carriage or whatever. I did try making a summon spell for the cart to reset it but could never get it working.

4) There will be some clipping when using the cooking pot due to it's location, you clip somewhat through the edge of the screen. It's not game-breaking for me because it just looks like a dark corner or something, it's not like you can see through the entire cart or anything but just FYI.

5) When the cart is in motion mode, you can kind of walk through the outside mesh, when it is in static mode the mesh is solid again. It can be somewhat annoying with followers because they can sometimes get inside the mesh from the outside but its pretty rare, I navmeshed it the best I could. I recommend setting farther follow distances for followers just in case.

6) The Havoc physics can be WEIRD, sometimes the cart will bump all over the place, I have intentionally made the horse slower than regular to avoid a lot of that.

7) Yes there is a chair in the front of the cart but sadly, no, you can't sit in it, my original plan was for me to be able to drive it but have no idea how to accomplish that..... so its just for looks at this time.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy this mod as much as I have!!!
