Adds five new weapons to the game: Shortbow, Hunter's Shortbow, Valenwood Shortbow, Blackwood Shortbow and Magic Shortbow.
These bows have slightly weaker damage and shorter range than other bows. Their biggest advantage is a fast rate of fire which allows you to take more shots before the enemy reaches you.
The weapons are sometimes used by enemies and sold by merchants once the player reaches high enough level. They start to appear in game at levels 1, 10, 20, 30 and 40 respectively. All of the bows can also be crafted at a forge, requiring level 1, 20, 40, 60 and 80 Smithing respectively. Perks are not required for crafting but 'Steel Smithing' (Normal/Hunter's), 'Elven Smithing' (Valenwood/Blackwood) and 'Advanced Armors' (Magic) perks double the improvements.

In comparison, Daedric Bow's rate of fire is 0.50 and Hunting Bow's rate of fire is 0.937.
