How are you learning new words? I killed a dragon and I had nothing pop up, no indication to learn a new word, only the words ive already discovered but not unlocked.

I know during vanilla gameplay, not all shouts will be able to be learned due to limited walls that don't respawn a new word. I wanted a mod that would make it so I can eventually work all shouts that are possible to be unlocked in vanilla gameplay, while being able to work for it. This mod WOULD have been perfect if it worked.
I am confused on where Im supposed to learn a new word after killing a dragon, like is there an interface to learn a word after killing a dragon? A power to open a menu to learn with dragon souls? Im not entirely sure what to look for, also the menu in MCM for the mod is blank.
So is this mod compatible with mods that modify/overhaul vanilla shouts? For instance, Thunderchild adds a bunch of new shouts, so it needs a patch, but would a mod like Ultimate Dragon Shouts also need a patch?
I've been using Forceful Tongue for forever, and I'll probably return to it, I just wanted to try some new mods, but I can't play without this one.
it appears to be that if the mod in question is modifying effects of existing shouts, it is compatible. as what this is doing is just gives you a word of power on chance. The other mod handles the rest
Thunderchild has it's own method to unlocking its shout and would not make sense for you to get them this way as thunderchild shouts are in text a combination of the words you already know.
So to summary, "Sil Gahrot - Improved Shouts Learning" is already compatible with thunderchild as you need vanilla words of power to unlock the ones from thunderchild.
Would it be possible to make it so this mod only teaches specific non-vanilla shouts by editing the FormID Lists? Such as removing the prefilled vanilla shouts and adding the 2 new ones from Stormcrown.
And if I remove the edited vanilla scripts (and relevant quest/dialogue/story records from the plugin), would that restore all of the vanilla quest and word wall mechanics, or are some of those changes ingrained in the main functional scripts for this mod?
i'm using with Forceful Tongue - Shouts Overhaul and chance at 100%, but is not not working. the other dragon mods related i have is parturnax quest expanded. is there a prerequisite to trigg the mods? advance with main story?
edit: i have dragons at start mod in vanilla is not suppose you kill dragons before mirmulnir but after you kill it the mod start.
Hi Delta, I reached level 10 and after sleeping I get visited by some strange creature in a space like realm. A quest called "Awakening" starts and if I kill the beast I learn a level 3 shout called transform or something. Is this mod doing that?
I got words from killing dragons but I can't learn them, it says I need dragon souls to learn them but I have like 10 souls. Have I just not progressed enough in the greybeards quest? Or is it a bug?
