Vanilla Version
Soul Snare is an adept level spell that uses the wide crescent projectile, meaning that it will affect any targets the projectile passes through. The new version of the crescent projectile includes recolored textures that match with the color of the Soul Trap effect. Soul Snare has a base magicka cost of 160, 50% more than the base cost of the basic Soul Trap spell. This makes it more efficient on 2 or more targets. The cost goes down to 80 magicka with the appropriate perks, and gets lower with skill level. The Spell Tome can be obtained from any merchant that sells adept level conjuration Spell Tomes or wherever else such Spell Tomes would drop.
Mysticism Version
Now updated for parity with the soul trap changes made in Mysticism. Soul Snare is now apprentice level and has a base magicka cost of 71, 50% more cost than the Mysticism version of Soul Trap. The Spell Tome can be obtained from any merchant that sells apprentice level conjuration Spell Tomes or wherever else such Spell Tomes would drop. This means that the leveled lists "LItemSpellTomes25AllConjuration" and "LItemSpellTomes25Conjuration" have been edited for compatibility with Mysticism. If you have a mod other than Mysticism that touches these lists, you will need to make a patch.
Compatibility & Installation
Install as normal with mod manager.
For the Vanilla Version, load order only matters for the edits made to the leveled lists "LItemSpellTomes50AllConjuration" and "LItemSpellTomes50Conjuration." A patch will be needed for mods that edit those same lists. Apocalypse and Arcanum do not need a patch. If you would like to use this version with spell mods other than those listed, use Wyre Bash, Mater Smash, or xEdit.
For the Mysticism Version, load after Mysticism.
