In my opinion Sindora's Hidden Hearth player home is the prettiest player home mod on the Nexus. Its perfect for a Bosmeric or druidic themed play through. I liked it so much, I decided to make a handful of patches.

What these patches do:

Enhanced Lights and FX
I took a page from Anamorfus's book on lighting. First, I removed the ambient light (light without a source). Then, I added/replaced all the light sources with appropriate bulbs (candles got flickering candle light, the fireplace got a dancing shadow casting light, etc.) with appropriate looking lumens. Finally, I ensured that there were no more than three shadow casting lights in total to avoid the lighting bug. What you have now is a very different interior. Some areas look cozy and inviting, other areas might be considered too dark.

iNeed - Food Water and Sleep - Continued: Adds a iNeed bucket next to the wishing well (water fountain) for iNeed functionality.

Training Dummies and Targets SSE: Adds functionality to the training dummy and archery target. Or adds the archery target, depending on which version of Hidden Hearth you are using.

Verdant - A Skyrim Grass Plugin: The moment I first walked through the gate, I saw that the yard was overrun with waist high beautiful grass, and instantly knew I had to make yet another grass patch. Instead of removing all the grass, I opted to leave some in its natural state. I might make another patch that has a manicured esthetic. See the before and after pics (pics taken with ENB turned off).

Used SSEEdit to flag all the .esp files as .esl

Installation:

Simply download the patches you desire, and install through your mod manager.

Note
: If you use mods such as No Grass In Objects to pre-cache your grass, you will have to regenerate again.

Other Grass Mods:

The Verdant patch will probably work with any grass mod if you either:
  • Change the master requirements using Wrye Bash
  • Remove the master requirements using SSEEdit. If you remove the masters be sure to add the correct masters back so LOOT can sort correctly. If you do not, you will have to manually sort your load order (place the patch after/below your grass mod of choice and Sindora's Hidden Hearth).
