Ever wondered why all these items the mages use are practically obsolete by the time you advance a few levels?
Have you felt frustrated because you can only kill 1-2 enemies before having to cover or drink magicka potions?
The vanilla solution seems to just use a heavy armor with fortify destruction to get a 100% reduction for infinite fireballs.
Well, I made a small mod that fixes this issue and should make more viable to be a mage with robes.
The contents of the mod include buffs and a significant rework to the non-speciallised robes.
I made them some sort of jack of all trades to compensate with the others.

Diadem of the Savant: -15% magicka cost

Ritual ring of [school]: -30% cost for [school], +50% magicka (can be found while doing the midden daedra easter egg)
Nightwaver band: -15% magicka cost for destruction and illusion, +15% sneak, +25 magicka (Is an extra reward in the Dark Brotherhood questline)
Morokei: -20% time between shouts, +100% magikca regen (It restores its intended enchantment, it was unused in the game files)
Staff of Jyrik Gauldurson: 50 damage and 100 magicka damage
Staff of Magnus: 50 absorbtion of magicka per second, absorbs health if the target is out of magicka
Staff of fireballs: 100 damage, explosion, fire damage
Staff of incinerate: 150 damage, fire damage
Staff of Ice Storms: 100 damage, half of it to stamina, slow
Staff of Icy Spear: 150 damage, half of it to stamina, slow
Staff of Chain Lighting: 100 damage, half of it to magicka
Staff of Thunderbolts: 150 damage, half of it to magicka
