Overview
Why are the Skyrim carriage drivers and ferries just idled to a Velcro seat? No backstory, nowhere to sleep, nothing to eat.
Shame. Apparently Bethesda forgot about them.
Well, not anymore. Now all vanilla carriage and ferry drivers have their own AI along with a spot to rest, sleep, and eat.
I've always used Convenient Carriages from Tarlazo and I especially loved the AI feature for drivers. I decided to start a new game with an interest in more exploration and survival mechanics and removed Convenient Carriages.
Unfortunately, without Convenient Carriages I was back to missing carriage driver AI and they were once again lifeless arcade machine teleporters.
So I created a new mod with assets used from Tarlazo's Convenient Carriages to give them AI and camps while keeping the vanilla travelling system.
TL;DR: This mod is aimed for people who want to use vanilla travel system (or none at all) and simply want to see carriage driver NPC's living in Skyrim. The results of this make the mod highly compatible with your load order.

Installation
- Use your favorite mod manager (preferably Mod Organizer 2)
- Patch pack for Northbourne NPCs for only the full versions of the needed mods.

- Patches available for High Poly Expressive NPCs created by Mechanicalpanda
- Patch available for Legacy of the Dragonborn created by Mousetick
- INI file available for Dead Man's Dread Outfits for Pirates and Sailors. This makes sure that the ferry men wear the Skaal outfit as intended.
Compatibility
- The missing forward from USSEP for GetSitting is intentional in order to hire carriage services while they are not sitting and sandboxing near their camps. Do not forward this!
- Not compatible with Convenient Carriages
- Not compatible with Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul
- Not compatible with Touring Carriages
- Redundant when using Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul SE because drivers from this mod have their own AI with a specific intent

- Universal Solitude Carriage Seat Fix not needed with Carriage Drivers Are Alive.
