    Let me tell you a story. First off, this is in no way the fault of the mod. :D

    So, I started a new character, arrived bright eyed and bushy tailed at Whiterun, and after a bit of dragon slaying, I visited the Companions. After a bit of showmanship, they offered me my first quest.

    Go intimidate someone. OK, where, you ask? Autumn Mist Manor Courtyard.

    Well, I guess I'm not joining the companions any time soon.

      Sorry about that.  If you COC WRSHMANOR you can run out to the courtyard and take care of that errand then fast travel back out.

    So I have a gargoyle following me that is apparently apart of this mod. Cant interact with him so i have no clue what he's for other than making sneaking harder.

      Do you have the latest version of the mod?  In the previous version I forgot to remove the follow package from the duplicated and edited vanilla gargoyle. I don't know how it got out of the holding cell. You could probably get him back in his cage by going into the hideout and pressing the cage button until he shows up inside it. There should not be any problems using an existing save with the updated mod.

    I note the authorization is required to gain access, And when installing it mid game, you dont get the authorization at all, I didnt see a note about a new game being required so thats a little disappointing. Is there an item code we can use to give us the authorization? Or is it a hard requirement that this has a new game.

      It should work with an existing game. Have you checked your inventory in the book category?

    The enchanted mirror in Autumn Mist Manor only worked once, not once per day. Now it says it has to recharge, three days in a row.

      Fixed. Used the wrong event in the script. Now it, the orb, and the alchemy text all work correctly. Thank you everyone who reports bugs like these. I tried to catch them all but some get missed.

    I tested it extensively in Skyrim LE. My character used it up to level 80 and I think I found all the bugs. If you see any bugs in the SE version please post and let me know as I've just started a Special Edition playthrough. Didn't have time before as I was still working on the Legacy version.

      A friendly Gargoyle started following me upon taking the cart to Solitude. That... seems unintentional.

      Not sure if this mod is the culprit, though. And it didn't happen when traveling by foot.

      Feed them once and they'll follow you forever. Yes it was my fault. When I duplicated some creatures for my cage I forgot to remove the default follow package that's attached to the vanilla gargoyles. Don't know who left the cage door open. Fixed. I hope that's the last of the bugs. Thank you for finding it.

    A suggestion: add map screenshots with this mod's locations. My first reaction to this is "wow, looks and sounds pretty cool," but my second reaction was "I already have a player home up against the mountains south of Whiterun, does this conflict?"

      There are 5 locations that might conflict with other mods. The stronghold entrance is just across the path over the mountains near the giant's camp. The second entrance to the stronghold is across the river from Riverwood. The hideout is across the river from Karthwasten near the bridge.  The entrance to the Manor is south of Crystaldrift cave.  The smugglers den in Solstheim is just a trap door and unless a modded building is placed directly over it should not conflict though it is possible. If it is covered up it won't matter too much, there is little in there to be missed though it does make travelling back and forth convenient. Except for the Stronghold main entrance the others are little more than doors hidden against cliffs and not actual buildings.

    I. Am looking for the Key and can't find it. Been to Helgen again don't no why and found nothing. Just where am I going wrong help please.

      Have you read the authorization? It should be added to your inventory when you install the mod. If you have it should tell you to go to Wolfskull cave north of Solitude. Look for the previous commander and get the key from him. In the mod description there is a Quick Access Guide with a spoiler that tells you how to get the 3 main sections quickly. There is no key in Helgen.

      I don't have an xbox so probably not. Sorry. I'm also not sure if the xbox can use scripted mods. Mine are simple ones to display and respawn items mostly and the teleport stones of course but if scripts are not allowed they wouldn't function. I haven't really looked into xbox modding.

      Scripts are no problem on Xbox.  Only mods that don’t work are ones that require external resources like SKSE to function.  If you ever change your mind I am part of a large discord full of mod authors, porters and players/testers that would be happy to help.

    I wanted flexible role plays. You COULD have it legitimately as an Imperial agent, you might have picked it off a dead body somewhere, you might have MADE the body dead (Thalmor agent?). And I wanted to be sure that you didn't rush through Helgen and not pick it up or use live another life and not go to Helgen at all.
