Awhile ago, I uploaded some files to get around a bug with True Directional Movement. These files will no longer be supported now that True Directional Movement has this bug fixed. If you wish you use them, I now put them in the Miscellaneous section. You can still use them if you like to but they will no longer be supported.
For those who are using Precision, I am fully aware that Manis Stoine's second form cannot be hit with melee. Unfortunately there is nothing I can do about it. If you are using Precision, then the only way to defeat him is with using spells, archery or just spell deflect him if using a mod such as Deflection or Valhalla Combat.
the selected bosses that play music from bossmusic.esm have a script that choose the track from the bossmusic.esm so when you fight a bandit boss for example the script picks a track from Boss Bandit. the bossmusic.esm has only 1 track for each type of boss on each boss type. if you want the bosses to play your modded combat music you have to add the combat tracks from the mod you use to bossmusic.esm combat music track list, but you have to do it on bossmusic.esm itself cause the script choose the track from this mod. if you make a patch you have to repath the script to the patch. dunno if this is possible, but if you don't know how to repath the script you can do this: 1) open bossmusic.esm and the music mod you use with SSEDIT 2) copy as overwrite the Music Track of the music mod you use to bossmusic.esm 3) open Music Type of bossmusic.esm and manually add the tracks of your music mod 1 by 1 to BossBandit, BossMage, etc before you do this copy-paste the bossmusic.esp somewhere as backup just in case. if you want variety then you have to add all the songs on all boss types. this will be tedious, so if you want to make it less tedious you can add 3-4 tracks(or as many as you want) to Boss Bandit, for Boss Draugr choose 3-4 different tracks, etc. mix and match. there will be some repetitiveness but it will be less tedious tha if you add all the tracks on all boss types. if you'll add all the tracks on each boss type for more variety it's more tedious cause each boss type has it's own track list so you have to add all the tracks to each type .
Hello so I'm having a problem where some of the enemies mostly the Skeleton Warriors shouts completely remove my armor and weapons and idk what the problem is. Is there a way to fix or stop this please let me know please.
This mod needs to be simplified. It requires RotE, which is a CTD randomizer. Also, I'd rather use my own AI overhauls and don't want to have to workaround RotE. It has updating downloads instead of one updated esp. It required you to DL the music pack...just put it in the updated esp. OR, OR just get rid of it most ppl don't want it anyways. This is a great concept, just not worth the possible headaches. Not here to trash the mod, just giving my critique in hopes someone fixes and simplifies it. Especially now that there are much better methods in which to implement the changes into the game for a more stable and cleaner experience. Still, you have my respect. You put a lot of great work and thought into it.
Wish there was a version without the music. I play with no music for realism. Like if I'm going to go camping and a wolf jumps out, music isn't going to start playing in the middle of the forest! But if I ever was in the mood to turn it on, having that option would be nice and fix the boss music bug with this mod.
you have another requirement marked down for the esp update... was this a mistake? I thought this because you display your other required mod as an "addon" meaning its not an actual requirement but it's there if you would like to use... unless if I'm mistaken...
followed all Q and A instructions and some bosses still do not appear your mod is broken (yes i started a new game for this mod) Edit:OMFG I AM SO RETARDED I FORGOT ROTE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EDIT: nvm it didnt change anything checked sse edit and there isnt any conflicts and im not about to f*#@ up my whole load order trying to figure out which could MAYBE be interfering hopefully i get a few bosses namely the mzulft boss he looks really cool.
Hey I wanted to download this mod, but I'm scared since I saw a lot of missing textures report and stuffs? And also, is RotE that bad? Please dev, talk to me. I need guidance. Or anyone with experience with this mod, can you tell me?
Revenge of the Enemies really is not a bad mod. It may be a bit old but it's still a good mod and I've never had an issue with it. And I don't know why people are having missing textures. My guess is that they somehow must have unpacked the BSA and installed it loose which I strongly advise not to do. Textures have always worked for me.
ROTE is not bad. people dislike the mod requirement for ROTE cause they use other mods for enemy tweaks, etc and they don't want to use ROTE and mess their modlist.
no. this mod cannot be flagged as ESL. to see which mods can be flagged as ESL add this on argument for SSEDIT -pseudoesl. when you open SSEDIT, the mods that can be flagged as ESL will start with [FF and a number] on the FormID window.

If you post here or in the Bug Section things like "I got a CTD doing so and so". I will ignore it.
If you post a partial log and not the whole thing, I will ignore it.
You have to post the full thing or else it will be ignored. You have been warned.
if you want the bosses to play your modded combat music you have to add the combat tracks from the mod you use to bossmusic.esm combat music track list, but you have to do it on bossmusic.esm itself cause the script choose the track from this mod. if you make a patch you have to repath the script to the patch. dunno if this is possible, but if you don't know how to repath the script you can do this:
1) open bossmusic.esm and the music mod you use with SSEDIT
2) copy as overwrite the Music Track of the music mod you use to bossmusic.esm
3) open Music Type of bossmusic.esm and manually add the tracks of your music mod 1 by 1 to BossBandit, BossMage, etc
before you do this copy-paste the bossmusic.esp somewhere as backup just in case.
if you want variety then you have to add all the songs on all boss types. this will be tedious, so if you want to make it less tedious you can add 3-4 tracks(or as many as you want) to Boss Bandit, for Boss Draugr choose 3-4 different tracks, etc. mix and match. there will be some repetitiveness but it will be less tedious tha if you add all the tracks on all boss types. if you'll add all the tracks on each boss type for more variety it's more tedious cause each boss type has it's own track list so you have to add all the tracks to each type .
- in fact this is one of my 'CANT PLAY WITHOUT ANYMORE' mods. favorite of all time. great work!
jumps out, music isn't going to start playing in the middle of the forest!
But if I ever was in the mood to turn it on, having that option would be nice and fix the
boss music bug with this mod.

A: You installed this on a saved game. This mod requires a new game in order for it to work.
Great mod, the only one of it's kind. Thanks for the work!
