I don't always respond to posts frequently, if you're having a problem, here are some likely causes and solutions:
Q: The animations are misaligned? A: Check your Go To Bed installation, you should have either of the Full versions of Go To Bed, but without the following animations: "bed_leftsleep.hkx, bed_rightsleep.hkx, bedroll_frontsleep.hkx, bedroll_leftsleep.hkx and bedroll_rightsleep.hkx."
Q: My character clips with the NPC/vise versa? A: Assuming you're using the FULL version, and it's because your Player/NPC have very similar or very varying heights, I suggest using the Male Player Version.
Q: Compatibility? A: Compatible with everything except mods (other than Go To Bed) that adjust bedroll behaviors, alignment, or animations (Excluding Campfire Spooning, because I provided a patch).
Q: I can't lay down with other NPC's? A: Download a mod that alters or adds bedrolls that will allow two people (Campfire, for example.)
Q: Why doesn't this apply to NPC's? A: This mod replaces and adds variance to the "idlelaydown" animation, which is only used when the player uses a bedroll or anybodywho uses a laydown idle marker (such as several locations in the hot springs area). The male player version, however, replaces an NPC animation as well.
Q: Use with beds? A: This was only created to change bedroll functionality, there are several other mods already out there for beds, even if they aren't as snuggly.
Q: Bed Add-On is being weird? A: I personally suggest a different mod for that kind of feature, check the description please. 😅
This is a cool mod, used it years ago, but now I can't seem to get my player and follower to actually snuggle, although they lay down together just fine. I have Go To Bed plus the patch, Auto Sleep For Me Now, Sleep Tight plus fixes, and this. I've also run it all through Nemesis. Am I missing something in my load order, maybe?
how do i get it working in the game? i followed instructions but when i sleep my follower doesnt join me? if i command them to sleep in bed and sleep next to them theres no cuddle animation
Hi I have this and Campfire installed, but my follower won't join me sleeping on the same bedroll in the tent. I have 2 followers and using a small tent with 2 bedrolls, but there's always one follower have no place to sleep. Do I need a patch or another mod to enable 2 people sleeping on the same bedroll?
I found that I could order my followers to sleep in the bedroll but another problem raised, 2 people clipping in the bedroll. I don't know if this is the problem with the meshes or what. I tried generate nemesis multiple times but still couldn't resolve this.
Does this works with OAR? and Im on AE version 1.6.640. I dont have all the CC content, only the free ones "Dragonborn, Heartfire, Dawnguard" but this thing doesnt work for me. Im using FNIS, OAR and Go to bed and its patch. So im asking if this works with oar. If its work then I have a problem on my end because no option to snuggle with my spouse
Yep. DAR structured mods are compatible with OAR, but OAR structured mods aren't compatible with DAR. In other words, OAR is the way to go. I'm on the same version as you, but I'm using Nemesis. It's working on mine so it might be worth looking into the swap, especially since it's most likely a Go To Bed/behavior problem. Also, there won't be a snuggle option, per se, but when you lay down on a campfire bedroll/bedding it will play a different, snuggly animation. Good luck!
This mod worked great for me on standard SE, then I upgraded to AE and now it doesn't work. I'm using the AE version of Go to Bed and double checked everything, but my NPCs just stand there when I go to bed and don't do anything. I've reran Nemesis and all that. Any ideas?
But there's no SKSE in this mod - it's animations. Anyway, it doesn't work in AE (though interestingly Campfire Immersive Snuggling does even though it hasn't been updated since 2019).
Hey there, glad to hear it worked for you... at least before the great purge lol. Like probably everyone else, I've had some problems with upgrading to AE too, Go To Bed being one of them. As you mentioned, in theory this should work fine since it's just animations, but it's hard telling considering the updates on mods that this requires. If I get around to testing it myself I'll let you know a solution.
