Hey, this is somewhat unrelated but would you happen to know what the name of the track that plays in temples is? or whether your mod touches it? I'm looking specifically for a mod that covers that....
For all intents and purposes, the 192kbps XWM files that both mods offer are the best you're going to get in terms of lossiness.
The author of UHDAP offers uncompressed WAVs, but those come from the same already-compressed PlayStation 4 source files that the XWMs come from, they just haven't been recompressed. In theory that makes a difference, but the UHDAP author themself says that the difference is statistically insignificant in reality.
I'm sorry but I really cannot tell the difference between the original and the uncompressed music. I'm getting some real Emperor's New Clothes vibes from reading all the positive comments - like, I'm sure it's great but I only have everyone else's word for it.
It's a good thing, as it means you don't have to spend time or money on these kinds of things. It's expensive and luxurious, and most of the time you can't tell if the change or improvement is a fact or just your imagination.
the source is 192, so no. Would need flac from the original sound track for 320 buuuuuuuuut it requires manual labor, to cut the songs in bits at the right length, volum equalization... and also it's illegal/
Even in vanilla Skyrim VR I had no music and was hoping that this would fix the problem... it didn't, any suggestions on how I can fix this? (there is also no sounds when I find a new word of power and overall my game volume is very quiet despite everything being maxed out)
ty for this great mods i use you voice and better sounds and the defrence its hugh and its like i can hear way more detail now and stuff like the brathing, so nice work here mate ty
There is an issue for me, when I install the game not on my main drive, there will be no music at all. Is this mod overwrite things and can solve this problem? Because my every other storage driver have more then enough space to install things, but my main drive is quite limited.
This is a known issue with bethesda games. Sounds don't play properly when installed on non OS Drives.
Mine is the same. I tried having Skyrim on my games drive, which is an SSD, and my OS drivce is an HDD (Can't upgrade that to an SSD Right now, due to other, non related, issues). Sounds wouldn't play. There is a way around this though, found a thread on reddit talking about this and it fixed sounds issue for me
