TY for this, I liked the look of the Thieves Guild Armor, but I hate doing that Quest line. Thank you for another great Leather armor for my character.
You're a life saver. Vanilla leather armor is so fugly. The thieve's guild armor looks so much better and we rarely see it in the entire game! Thank you. I just can't thank you enough.
I wanted to make this but then someone made a better leather armor replacement for Oldrim so I just kind of moved on. There is another armor that I think is more suited for a mod like this. I would ask the mod author if it's okay to use their assets and then use that mesh instead. It's similar to the merc armor but different enough to add some variety.
You are correct that it makes the thieves armor pointless to obtain, you are more then welcome to not use the MOD or, alternatively, you can skip getting the armor in game. That's the great thing about using MODs, lots of options. I made this MOD for my own personal use and thought that others may enjoy it as well. So feel free to not use use if you don't think you can get satisfaction from it.
Reinstalling mods I came back here, and I have something else to say on this matter. . I have a mod that changes the random theives to wearing normal clothing. This mod changes all leather armour to the TG armour. Why, as a thief, who tries to hide from people, would you WANT an armour than stands out, that only thieves wear, so you're a massive target. . If everyone wears this kind of armour, then you don't stand out. You're 'just wearing leather armour.' The benefit of still getting the TG's armour is the stats, and yet you still blend in. Plus with the removal of theives wearing it, it turns it back into being a little special, as not all theives wear the TG armour when they aren't necessarily in the TG.
Thank you for this, sure like others have said there are armor mods that are 'better' but this is a replacement for that silly leather armor, exactly what I want.
This is a brilliant, simple solution to the absurdity of vanilla leather armor. What about including a matching leather hood? Maybe a hood with a scarf sort of like's Bane's leather Helm Replacer? The vanilla Leather Helmet bugs me like the vanilla Leather Armor. Anyone else?
I love your mod. I myself am also doing a lot of armor mesh-switching and replacing from vanilla and armor mods, especially when I get bored looking at the same armor styles in every playthrough. If you ask me, the thieves guild armor is what really looks like a solid leather armor - just how I like it. Thank you for uploading this for us!

Reminder to everyone else: Yes, this is the same meshes as the thieves guild armor. Don't like it replacing plain leather armor, then don't download it. And especially don't comment, if all you can do is complaining. Just don't !

The only thing I didn't like about this mod is the gloves but there are alternatives. Maybe use the thieves guild glove mesh if it'll fit.
