Edits and adds new variants of Skooma.

Skooma Overdosed is a relatively simple mod, editing the default editing the effects of skooma, intergratating quest specific types of skooma into leveled lists, and adding new variants.

The default variant Skooma originally merely restored 25 points of stamina, which is a far cry from the hard drug it's described as in the lore.
Its now had its effects changed to behave somewhat closer to how it did in previous elder scrolls games.
Skooma now-

  • Increases speed by 15% for 20 seconds.
  • Increases Two-Handed, One-Handed, and Unarmed by 5% for 20 seconds.
  • Reduces max health by 5 points and magic by 10 for 24 hours.

These bonuses might seem small, but that is to reflect that the Skooma is actually watered down, as a line in game hints at. A new Skooma type has been added to address this. Imported Skooma is sold that hasn't been watered down and who's effects are far more intense, at a price of course.
  • Increases speed by 60% for 20 seconds.
  • Increases Two-Handed, One-Handed, and Unarmed by 10% for 20 seconds.
  • Reduces max health by 10 points and magic by 20 for 24 hours.

Double-Distilled Skooma is an extremely refined version of basic Skooma by a process that yet unknown to many, Its extreme potency causes one's perception of time to slow but at the cost of even stronger withdraw symptoms.
  • Slows time for 9 seconds.
  • Increases Two-Handed, One-Handed, and Unarmed by 15% for 15 seconds.
  • Reduces max health by 15 points and magic by 30 for 24 hours.

Redwater Skooma is a new drug hitting the market after its invention at Redwater Den. While the effects aren't unique or all that strong, the effects lasts far longer due to the mystic properties of the Red Water Spring. After level 10, the den will begin circulating their unique form of Skooma to hopefully attract more patrons.
  • Increases speed by 60% for 40 seconds.
  • Increases Two-Handed, One-Handed, and Unarmed by 10% for 40 seconds.
  • Reduces max health by 10 points and magic by 20 for 24 hours.

While not Skooma, Balmora Blue is a described a new drug in Skyrim, granted with only a single bottle. Not much is explained about Balmora Blue in game, so we had to take some creative liberty to give it some unique effects. Our story, Balmora Blue is a long acting drug that causes the user to become extremely relaxing and causes time to pass by much faster. Extremely popular among sailors or those traveling by, it was originally sold out of Balmora but became extremely rare when the operation was uncovered. Bottles that remain in circulation are highly valuable.

We also changed Balmora Blue from being categorized as food to a potion. Yeah that was pretty silly.

  • Time moves (x3) faster for 15 seconds.
  • Damage Stamina Rate for 15 seconds.
  • Reduce health by 15 points for 24 hours
  • Reduce magic by 30 points for 24 hours.

This mod also adds new Skooma Smugglers around Riften, Whiterun, Dawnstar, and Raven Rock.

Optional Add-ons

Skooma is Illegal

This edits the default vendor item lists so that Skooma can't be sold at every general store you find, so you can only sell or by Skooma from Skooma Smugglers and Khajiit caravans. This isn't included in the main package, sense the edits would effect other mods that might add Skooma dealers or other Skooma based mods.

Balmora Bottle
Gives a custom mesh and texture to Balmora Blue to make it more unique. This isn't included in the main package due to some collision based issues that others might not want (It's my first real custom item).
