About this mod
You died! Gameover!
A deathmod heavily inspired on Almost Permadeath. It could be said that is a reimplementation with a few quirks. Continue reading to learn more...
- Requirements
- Permissions and credits
- Changelogs
- Gain a life every 5 levels (on request now there's one every 10 levels)
- Can't gain more than 3 lives
- Generate 1 file per character to track every character (implementation detail)
- Internal changes on scripts. All source is published with the download.
- One version without video (boring)
The rest is the same old goodness of Almost Permadeath, you can exchange a life for a dragonsoul and if you got no more lives, then a nice GameOver video takes over your screen. Unless you download the No Video version. Did I said that was boring??
Keep in mind that you cannot create a character with the same name as previous characters. Of course those characters should have been exposed to this mod.

F.A.Q:
Q: Do I get a life when levelling up if I'm already with 3?
A: No.
Q: If I level up 10 times in a row, will I gain 2 lives?
A: No, the script execute one time when accessing the skill menu. If you accumulate 10 levels then you're gonna miss 1 chance of life if you're not already maxed out.
Q: If I've no more life but I've dragonsouls and die, can I exchange them?
A: No, you should've planned ahead.
Q: Can I restore my character to keep playing?
A: Why would you do that? It completely defeats the goal of this mod.

Permissions:
You can note that I almost ripped off some source code from this mod (The dragonsoul trade thingy). Also the video. And the title for god sake. The permissions are open according to the mod page. So thanks again, CrEaToXx.
If you want me to change the mod name, i'll change asap.
Honorable mention to BrainBlasted whose Die When Killed - A Dead-Simple Permadeath mod's source code I could start to mess around and get my hands dirty on the scene.
