Is anyone else getting a problem of MO2 not starting up the game with this mod checked? I have SE 1.6.1130 and it can't initialize the game with this installed. I love this mod from LE though!
This is actually a pretty clever mod. Used in concert with something that adds weight or weight and various forms of coins with weight, this makes a lot more sense as its essentially a bank note. To redeem the bank note, you need to speak to a merchant that has expertise in bank notes, which is usually a general store merchant that already deals in every category. You can treat this merchant like a bank if needed. Pretty clever and immersive.
My GOD this is incredibly annoying. Unless we can spend the notes directly, or every single vendor in the game can exchange them from within the Sale menu, it's just a frustrating hindrance to fun.
It's primary function is to be used with a "coins have weight" mod. So if you're doing a long trek, you want to convert any money you take with you, otherwise you're reduced to the slowest walking speeds known to man.. mer.. or beasts. I do wish it had the option for merchants to purchase the notes though.. as that would be more realistic, in my opinion. So you need quick cash, and some local merchant will give you 75% of a note's value, because he'll still have to go turn it into real coin.. but then it's an investment to him.
You could just NOT exploit it, if you're bothered by it. I use a mod that sets gold ingots to 1,000 septims, and have never had the problem of exploiting this glitch, because it's not fun to do.

Not because it crashes and such things.
But the counter in markath sells a gold-ingot for 100, immersive jewelry patch a gold ingot to 500 gold.
so, its a "unlimited money glitch" if both mods are installed.
