About this mod

Vanilla Archmage Quarters enhancement for those that want the original look sprinkled with additional features such as interactable bookshelves, staff crafting station, hearthfire planters, and other misc.

Permissions and credits
This is my first mod and I wanted to keep it simple. I personally dislike mods that do "too much" and I wanted something that was vanilla but also had some additional features to give it a bit more of a spark. This mod is designed to enhance the vanilla Archmage quarters for those that prefer the original look but want a little more.

Features:
  • Added two interactable bookshelves, 11 books on each row for a total of 88 (I chose not to add collision detection in front of the shelves, so be careful if you cast powerful spells or etc. that would cause the books to fly off the shelves)
  • Added 6 hearthfire planters around the Archmage garden
  • Added a sleeping tree sap spigot to the tree in the Archmage garden, can harvest sleeping tree sap potion once per day (same as the original location)
  • Added staff crafting station (last two bullet points make it so you don't have to travel to Solstheim every time to craft a staff)
  • Added one heart stone ore vein in the middle of the Archmage garden
  • Mage trainers/vendors now sell unenchanted staffs (based on their school of magic, ex. Faralda sells unenchanted destruction staff, Phinis sells unenchanted conjuration staff, etc.)

Installation:
  • Simply drop the esp file in your Skyrim Special Edition Data folder and enable it

Requirements:
  • Standard DLCs (Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn)

Potential issues/troubleshooting:
  • If you enable this mod for the first time and your character happens to be in the Archmage quarters already, the hearthfire planters may not be interactable right away. If this happens, just leave the Archmage quarters and come back later. That fixed the issue for me when I stumbled across this issue.
  • Hearthfire plants may not grow right away if you are waiting inside the Archmage quarters. Honestly I don't know if this is a hearthfire issue, but again after leaving the Archmage quarters, waiting a bit, and returning later fixed this issue and my plants finally grew.

Please leave any additional feedback or let me know if you experience issues with this mod. Thank you!
