Hey, thank you for the shield mod, its very beautiful.
I did notice one thing though, the armor addon in missing the vampire races which in my game makes it invisible when I equip it. I fixed this problem myself by adding the races to the record, just thought I would let you know, thanks again.
Go into xedit and open up the armour addon section of the Nicos Raven Shield.esp, specifically aaRavenshieldaa; you have to add all the vampire races, or just the one you are using, go to additional races and to the right of it in the empty slot right click, add race. The vampire races are: NordRaceVampire "Nord" [RACE:00088794], BretonRaceVampire "Breton" [RACE:0008883C], DarkElfRaceVampire "Dark Elf" [RACE:0008883D], HighElfRaceVampire "High Elf" [RACE:00088840], ImperialRaceVampire "Imperial" [RACE:00088844], KhajiitRaceVampire "Khajiit" [RACE:00088845], WoodElfRaceVampire "Wood Elf" [RACE:00088884], OrcRaceVampire "Orc" [RACE:000A82B9], ElderRaceVampire "Old People Race" [RACE:000A82BA].
As it's been a while, I am not sure which ones were missing or if they all were, but you can check and add them using the ones I listed.
Most items I have made were created by overwriting a vanilla model of the same type with the mesh information I have created then updating lighting properties to suit the newly created item. How they get hacked into the game is similar. Basically taking a vanilla shield in the CS and changing the model it is referencing to the newly created .nif file and updating things like cost, weight, damage, etc. I have NEVER changed what races it could be used by so Bethesda must think that shields cannot be used by Vampire races (something I never would have thought of checking).
Very beautiful and perfectly suited to the atmosphere of the game. A perfect embodiment of the spirit of the Scandinavian Vikings. Friends! The author really tried from the heart to create such a shield. Just think about it... In the center is the Valknut symbol - the unity of the human world (Midgard), the world of the gods (Asgard) and the world of the dead (Helheim). Such a symbol was applied by warriors sent to such battles, knowing that they would not return. In other words, the willingness to meet Odin. And in this case, the Valknut is surrounded by runes on the edges of the shield - all together it symbolizes a talisman that protects the bearer on the path he has chosen. And there is a lot of choice in Skyrim... true and false. And the two crows are Hugin and Munin, who serve Odin himself, the very crows who fly around the world to Midgard and inform the god Odin about what is happening. In other words, with such a shield, the gods themselves are looking out for you. Without exaggeration, I will say - this is one of the most beautiful shields, but the best in the theme for the Skyrim Viking Nords!
i don't use shields very often and if i do its usually spellbreaker. now that I'm rebuilding my list and installing bowgasm this came up and its too good looking not to put in. thanks for this and the other mods I'm going to install.
Simply exquisite. It is the most detailed shield I have ever seen, and I am delighted to have it in the game. As One-Handed and Squire, this equipment is essential for my gameplay.
Love the new shield Nico, I even shared a photo showing me and Inigo with the shield. I have never used a shield before so thanks for making something I wanted.
Thanks for the picture I never really used shield before either favoring the bow and either dual wielding or sword/dagger and spell. have to admit though I am loving the shield Bash with my current character.

Glad you figured out a solution.
