Is there a mod that turns the pendants into quest items? I think that would be quite useful, so that one can't lose or sell the pendants and thus never complete the new quest either (though that most likely would't happen since people know that they need to bring the pendants to Fethis).
is there a mod which completely removes the quest from the log? Ideally still allowing the dialogue to sell the pendants to fethis, but if it removes the dialogue completely then so be it... i just want to be rid of this :(
Would it be safe to install this to an ongoing playthrough, which hasn't been to Solstheim yet? (but did get attacked by the first 2 Miraak cultists, if that is somehow relevant, so the quest telling to go to Solstheim has already started).
edit: installed this mod on a game save where the quest had already been started and progressed, and it doesn't quite work right. at first, there were no map markers, and the quest counter just reads ([...]/[...]). Then, after randomly turning in some pendants, the map markers suddenly appeared- however, the counter remained broken. after clearing the markers and turning in the last of the pendants, the quest is still active, and the counter is still broken.
i don't know if this means there are still pendants out there that don't have a marker pointing to them, or if the mod isn't working, or if the quest itself is just bugged- who knows.
I think for this mod to work correctly with this quest, you need to have it installed prior to traveling to Raven Rock and talking to Fethis. I installed it after getting the quest but didn't collect any pendants yet. I saw the exact same thing you did after turning in a pendant. I think it breaks the quest and bugs it out.
Only way to remove the quest from the log is making it fail by typing the console command Setstage DLC2RRFavor05 250.
Quest updates when you sell the neckalace not when you pick it up, it mentions this in description and I thought I had the issue of quest not working but on selling the necklace it did update to 1/33

If you use the following in the console, it will mark the quest completed.
SetStage 04024FA8 200
It still looks odd in the quest log ([...]/[...] amulets), but it's no longer active, which is what really matters.
