About this mod

This mod rebalances/tweaks shrine blessings. Blessings now can be a tremendous source of power for a good/neutral aligned character. Gaining favor with particular Divines will often result in stronger blessings.

Permissions and credits
*This mod has been replaced by 'Classic Roleplay Character Build' Perk Overhaul.

While this mod works, some blessings stack (wasn't intended).  I no longer update this mod = I can't be bothered to fix the issues.  But, I'm leaving it up for those who might still want to use it.

As for this mod!

*While the values are correct, the text entries still need to be updated for Divine blessing descriptions...works fine though.  I'll do this later this week.

**A few people consider this mod OP...but it is nearly identical to Requiem - Behind the Curtain (as pointed out in the title).  This mod is really best used if you play with difficulty enhancing/realism type Combat mods (which brings combat up to Requiem level standards).  For example, I play with the 'Vigor' mod (and I play 'Dead is Dead' style)!  IF you are playing Vanilla SSE = then you are already OP!

So please don't send me messages like "I play on vanilla Skyrim on Easy mode and I tend to reload constantly in fights until I win....and I find this mod makes me too OP!".....ughhh, please don't!

***Finally, no Modders currently have permission to use my work in their Mods/Collections!

This mod has some content Ported from original Skyrim's 'Requiem - Behind the Curtain' mod.  So let's all thank zer0morph for his hard work and generosity in letting me share with you!

Divines Overhaul reworks the blessings given by divine amulets/shrines.  Also, as the player gains favor with particular Divines, their blessings will grow in power.

Why I did it the way I did!

Akatosh is the source of the players Dragonblood/Dragonsoul....so why did Bethesda give Talos blessings the strongest shout bonuses in vanilla?  Akatosh clearly would have the most to offer in terms of Thu'um!  This mod fixes this!

Dibella has decent blessings/amulet....but I simply can't think of a lore friendly way to increase the power of her blessings....well, I guess a lore friendly way would be by having sex, but this isn't the Witcher!

Talos only blesses humans....which is complicated.  According to Lore, Talos is actually made up of 3 individuals (2 of which are Lorkhan manifestations, the other which is actually a direct avatar of Lorkhan)....Tiber Septim was anti High Elf,  Wulfharth was anti Dark Elf.....anyway, Talos is the God of Man (its right there in the name!) = he only blesses humans.

Funny thing, if Talos is basically made of 3  pieces of Lorkhan = kinda means Talos IS (sorta) Lorkhan....no wonder the elves hate Talos so much!

What Changes I might still implement!

There are a lot of additional ways players could lose the favor of the Divines...such as murder, theft, and such.  So far, I haven't implemented those type of conditions....but I might in the future.  I'll wait and see what users have to say first.
