nvm, found out you need to level higher to activate it. I had tried to test the mod by console command in the perk points. turns out this mod block me from cheating.

Does this mod need to be updated to make it work with Custom Skills Framework v3.0.0?

this is actually an 1130/1170 issue with the framework. there's a workaround https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41780?tab=bugs but I'm not actually sure where to add the new lines in this mods config. it looks like it already has them but still doesn't work and the line names/formating are a bit different from the vigilant/glenmoril custom skills.

First I want to say I use a lot for your mods, great stuff. Also I have a question, so the requirements say it needs .NET Script Framework but the description does not say that, I assume CSF used to need .NSF. But I don;t believe it does any longer, so sorry if this is silly but can I use this without .NSF?

It's a shame that this mod is incompatible with the anniversary version because of its dependence on a mod that is not compatible with it.

    Hello,

So with the support of 1.5.97 of CSF, we can just simply update your mod right?

    Thanks.

The description for the file reads, "Minor Tweak for Custom Skills Framework 2.0".

Custom Skill Framework 2.0 has an optional file now that works with 1.5.97.

So, yes, it's safe to update.

It seems this mod works without .NetScript Framework. I installed the latest version of Custom Skills Framework and than the Dragonborn Perk Menus Mod. The books show up in the game and I can open the perk trees. Haven't tested it further but seems gucci. Anniversary Edition ftw!

When you say it works 'without' .NetScript Framework, does that it only works works without it? I'm having an issue where whenever my mouse passes over the books in the books in my inventory, I get a CTD. (I'm also on the latest version of CSF, and correspondingly 1.6.640.)

Custom Skills Framework had an update. Will this mod receive an update as well?

If you're asking why CSF got an update, I guess they wanted to drop NetScript framework as a requirement for better compatibility with other skyrim se versions.

Well, I'm not a mod author so I can't tell you everything in precise details but just look here:

      1. Dragonborn - Shouts Perk Tree https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41950 - This mod got an update after CSF updated. A quote from the changelog: "Updated and changed implementation to work with the latest version of Custom Skills Framework". After reading this I realised that this mod probably needs an update as well.

      2. As I said. CSF dropped NetScript framework as a requirement and was rewritten as an SKSE plugin. Your mod will most likely not work with a completely different plugin right?

      Have you tested it?

I don't have the time to set up a new mod list to test the update.

Well crap. I've done a goof it seems. Can't test it because I'm on 1.5.97 and new CSF only "Supports Skyrim Special Edition and Anniversary Edition 1.6.640 (Steam) and 1.6.659 (GOG)". I won't be installing this CSF update it seems.

But yeah I'm like 95% sure that your mod won't work without an update. In the new update there is even some new script for some kind of a new functionality I guess.

According to everyone I've heard. The new update is backwards compatible

Yeah. Scrolled further through the comments and saw this too. So the update isn't "needed" unless you want to implement the improvements from the new update.
