This mod is an addon for Jonx0r's Call Follower mod and does not reuse any of it assets. Call Follower remains a requirement for this mod to work correctly, ensuring compatibility if Jonx0r updates his mod.

'Call Follower - A VR Adaption' adds an equipable War Horn to the players inventory which is compatible with the VRIK holster system. Players can use this war horn call their follower / horse by raising it to their mouth providing a more 'VR centric / immersive' experience to users of the original mod.

Installation & Usage:

• Ensure you have installed all of the required dependancies
• Install this mod via a mod manager
• Install Rallyeators 'War Horn Retexture' (optional but highly recommended)
• Ensure that this mod is loaded within the first 127 plugin in your load order, i.e between 1 to 127.
• Load your game and configure whichever VRIK holster you wish to use to accept swords via VRIK MCM
• Place the player character in the 'combat stance', i.e weapons drawn
• Equip the 'VRIK War Horn' weapon from your inventory
• Holster the 'VRIK War Horn' in your chosen VRIK holster - your war horn is now ready for use!
  

Using the war horn is as simple as unholstering it and raising it to your mouth, keep the war horn at your mouth for the duration of the blowing sound effect.

Note: This mod does not provide a 'Call Follower' compatible war horn, you will need to source one of those from a vendor in order for the VRIK War Horn to actually call your follower / horse.

FAQ:

My War Horn does nothing?!
Ensure that you have the mods dependancies installed and that the mod is within the first 127 plugins in your load order. i.e within 1 - 127.

I can't holster the VRIK War Horn!
Ensure that you have configured the VRIK holster to accept swords.

My followers do not get called when I blow the horn?!
Ensure that you have the 'Call Followers' mod installed and a compatible war horn in your inventory

The VRIK War Horn did not get added to my inventory!
Open the console and type: Help "VRIK War Horn", now use the ID to add it to your inventory: Player.additem insertIDhere 1

Can you add feature XXXXX to this mod?
This mod is a simple addon for 'Call Followers', outside of providing a VR centric means of using / holstering the war horn it adds no further functionality to the base mod. Non-VR related feature requests should be directed at the Call Followers mod page, for VR related requests / feedback feel free to ask away in the comments section.
