I decided to spend at most 3 full days on porting Uncapper to AE, regardless of results, as repayment for all mods I have used without contributing. What is done:

Everything else is not done:
[LegendarySkill]
Patch for limiting skills to 199 when calculating charge points per use. I don't know what will happen when skill > 200. Formula is: "3 * (base enchantment cost * magnitude / maximum magnitude)^1.1 * (1 - sqrt(skill/200))"
Compatibility with dll loaders other than skse.
Other changes:
Moved log file to "%USERPROFILE%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\SkyrimUncapper.log"
SkyrimUncapper.ini location is logged. Also errors if they happens when loading or creating. Somehow a lot of players can't find this file.
I don't play Skyrim now and don't plan to. But browsing popular mods sparked a bit of interest. I may play Skyrim in the future, but not before all the mods I need are updated. Uncapper for AE is in maintenance mode in the near future. I will update signatures if they don't work on the new SkyrimSE.exe. I may fix bugs if there are proofs that they exist and they are not above my skills. I will not port more features, because I already ported more than I use.
25.01.2022 I have nothing fun to do, so some hours were spent on Uncapper. I ported code used for [SkillEffectiveCaps] from NIHtweaks as [SkillFormulaCaps] replacement. It limits skill level used in calculations but doesn't make it red in UI. There may be other differences that I am not aware of. The name of section remains [SkillFormulaCaps] so no need to change existing presets. Function patched for [LevelSkillExpMults] was inlined in 1.6.x, so code has changed a lot. I'm absolutely not sure if my patch works properly. I did absolutely minimal tests, so be brave or be patient and wait until someone will write about their results. 22.09.2022 Haven't touched Skyrim in months. Noticed update only because Steam started downloading it. Probably someone else will have to update the mod when Bethesda breaks compatibility again. While testing update got "couldn't allocate trampoline" bug once. So (fixed) in the title should be (partially fixed). Skse will show message if Uncapper failed to initialize, so restart Skyrim until there is no message.
depending of how you config the ini you can deactivate legendary skills, or make so it doesn't reset your level (just taking the perks out), or making it reset to any level you want. You can also change at which level skills can get legendary
Second: Is a feature request possible? I would like to gain 5 pts in each stat I didn't choose. So, if I choose Health, I get +10 Health, +5 Magicka, +5 Stamina. Or is that something I can already do in the .ini?
Hey guys. I'm trying to trouble shoot why this won't work. I've been going through his guide. The part where is says check that Skse loads the dll.
In skse64.log file the par that refers to the uncapper reads as follows:

Does this mean it's not reading the uncapper dll? I have it in plugin file, installed correctly I believe. As well as the ordinater perk.ini file.
Did you ever get this to work with Ordinator? I've got this, the .ini for Ordinator that's here on the Nexus, and my skills are still capped at 100. Not really sure what the issue is since I'm not getting any errors. It's just not doing anything lol
EDIT: omg I'm so stupid. It's working. My skills were just at 100 with almost max xp so I finally just tried using them and they almost immediately leveled up. It just looked like they were maxed still haha. So I used this file for the newest AE build + the Ordinator specific .ini file and it worked no issue.
Been playing around with Skyrim/Steam on Linux with MO2,and this uncapper actually works. Took awhile to find the ini in the MO2/overwrite folder. Tried two others, and no dice. Thanks.
How to make it static with Vokrii Hand to Hand? I thought it would work just fine as Adamant's version but no, I still level up the skill by punching people.

I am one of the people who decided to revert their skyrim to pre - AE. also known as version 1.5.97
I was unable to get it to work, trying multiple installs and debugging attempts. At some point I said screw it, and my personal philosophy is FFO "F around, and Find Out" so I tried to run the AE versions on my reverted skyrim. The newest one for 1.6.640 indeed was a failure as it threw warning messages all over the place. But, to my surprise, upon launching the version for 1.6.323 it booted right up no issue and I was immediately able to use it.
If anyone else out there has reverted their Skyrim, and want to see numbers higher than 100, try version 1.6.323
