For reference, in case anyone finds this mod page and wonders if they still need this fix, Cathedral Landscapes has been updated to Blended Roads v1.6 so theoretically this fix is no longer required.

      It is still required.

This mesh fixes an issue for me where Pfuscher's alternative mud texture makes unpleasant geometric shapes on bridges. However, any time I install a new mod or change my load order I have to uninstall and reinstall this for it to take effect again. At the same time, Vortex is telling me this is a redundant mod even though it actually does something. I cannot get my head around how to make it a permanent fix.

If you want to be able to properly manage your assets through a usable interface, grab MO2. From what I hear, Vortex has tried to simplify asset management far too much.

I'm using Cathedral (with the default blending roads option) and your "Cathedral Landscapes - Fixed Bridge Meshes - for SMIM".

The issue persists. Should I use another version?

If the issue persists, then you either a different snow texture is overwriting, or different textures for the bridge are. Use MO2 and check the conflicts or Data tab.

Your texture has the highest priority and I'm not using another snow texture besides those included in Cathedral.

With your other version for Really Blended Roads, the issue is fixed. But the road doesn't match the normal blended road from Cathedral, sadly.

Oh lol we're talking about the regular bridges. Sorry, I have another with a similar name and got confused. In that case it seems like T4 didn't fix the meshes from the regular bridges in 1.7 and you're the first person not to use the 3D version. There isn't much I can do about that I'm afraid.

      No problem. :)

Yeah it seems so. Thanks anyways. I will be switching to REALly blended roads option in Cathedral and use your other option. This issue bothers me too much since I've seen your mod. (haven't really noticed it before)

I was thinking that it has the potential for more issues, like clipping.

But I have to say that the "REALly" blended roads version is such a huge improvement that I'm glad I've switched.

Thanks for the patch; just curious should I re-run DynDOLOD after installing this?

      Not really necessary.

+1, I only noticed when I saw the fix, but agree it's so much nicer now.  Thank you.

This is an instant download and endorsement from me. Fixes a really annoying visual error, thank you!

I use SMIM and blended roads, so downloaded that version. But my bridge sides look pretty much as your "before" pic still. Your mod overwrites everything in MO2. What am I not doing right?

Also, can I ask what texture you're using for smim_bridge_dirt?

Yeah it'll not change anything for Blended Roads, the meshes ARE from that mod. This is intended to fix Cathedral Landscapes which contains meshes from an older version of Blended Roads. The texture is from Cath Landscapes.

Edit - the texture is actually the original one from SMIM which is packaged with Cath.

Ah. Weird how my corners look so unnatural then, compared to your "after" pic.

It may simple be an ENB thing. I've got Ljoss ENB in this screenshot.

I don't use any ENB. But my stones don't pop up through the dirt all the way to the bridge wall, they stay under the dirt, like in your "before" pic. Is it because you use "really" blended roads, which give even more of a pop up effect maybe? Cause I only use "normal" blended roads.

Yes that's what the REALly Blended Road option does. It replaces the 2D road with 3D meshes.

Is this also suitable for those of us who chose the Really Blended Roads option when installing Cathedral Landscapes?

To be fair, the description page only mentions BR, not its RBR iteration. I only now since noticed it mentions RBR on the files page. Thanks for the confirmation.

Really Blended Roads is part of the Blended Road and Cathedral Landscapes FOMODs though. It's not like it's a separate mod.
