Ladies and Gentlemen, I present the SSE VERSIONS for WARZONES, WARZONES : Assault Attack and CLARALUX... since it appears that DYNAVISION will no longer be needed with SSE due to it having built-in and efficient DOF, it seems my "porting list" has come to a conclusion... I'm sure there's more to do and new ideas on the horizon!
I am thrilled to report that they all work better than expected! Very much how they were intended!
All tested in SSE. All saved/edited in CK64. And all cleaned in SSEEDIT.
- SSE is brand new. The CK is a little odd sometimes. There is no way that we can know the long-term impact of anything at this point, so I HEARTILY RECOMMEND that you keep a SaveGame from BEFORE installing any/all of these mods.
I'm using RAID Weathers (a totally under-appreciated weather mod IMO) in my mod load. I tried tweaking it with ENB and ReShade but never really got the look I was wanting which was to tweak the overall brightness and contrast to suit my monitor and eyesight. Then I tried Imaginator. BANG! A slight tweak to sky and another to contrast and Presto! Perfection. ZERO performance hit as RAID Weathers is using its original shaders and not having anything else injected. I've not had a single problem with stability using Imaginator at all. Highly recommended. Cheers
Not so much any particular settings as I use Imaginator to adjust the sky brightness and contrast in small in increments to suit my eyes. The adjustments could be entirely different to suit your vision. I experimented with the Cinemagic settings but found RAID weathers works very well without tweaking them.
Not sure if this will help anyone but I got this mod trying to get rid of the blown out yellow/white shine that the vanilla lighting puts on some objects. the way you can use this mod to get rid of it is to turn down the sunlight option until its not blown out then pump up brightness and contrast, usually i do around 30-40 brightness and 20 contrast. too much of each can create a similar issue as the original one but with some tweaking the tonemapping is a lot better.
Adjusting brightness and contrast didn't quite work out for me, what did work is setting sunlight (and sunlight only) to -2. This gets rid of overbrightened snow, but makes everything else less colourful. And constantly switching settings is not ideal. It would be amazing if there's a mod that changes sunlight with a hotkey. Or even better, some sort of snow glasses that do that, only when equipped. But that's me dreaming.
This is like the most essential mod ever. The fact it does changes at image space level is phenomenal. No more crushed black/whites.
If I dare wish though...I know it can be hellish to come up with solutions for what may seem to be trivial, but damn it would be wonderful to have separate settings for interiors and exteriors. It would solve so many problems with other phenomenal mods out there (like elfx enhancer for example :)
If I had any knowledge what so ever on using the Creation kit I'd be on this straight away myself, but just booting it up and looking at all the options and values makes me realize it would be far from a weekend thing for the inexperienced
That would be absolutely amazing. I've been trying to fix super bright snow for a while now. If there's an option to set the Sun brightness to -2 when Skyrim is at its brightest, that would work. And revert back to 0 when there's less sunlight.
I just installed this. Going to give this a fair try.
your summoned imaginator helper is a dimwit, he is attacking vampires in the dungeon ! i imagine him to Begone !!
but you have a Non-Aggressive MCM menu option, let me give that a chance..
that MCM menu works perfectly fine, but every time i want to make a micro adjustment i have to click 3 buttons to get to the MCM menu then scroll down through many mods to get to the Imaginator Menu. That's not really an option - that's a headache, a OCD maker.
let me try to use your Helper NPC where he is really far away from monsters.. OK, this is great.. i see why you are using the helper over the MCM menu, its easier to make those micro adjustments and fine tune the settings with the NPC instead of having that huge Menu blocking the screen.
Ok. Great Mod. Love it. Works exactly how i want it to (minus the Helper attacking things.)

Additionally rules for specific cells, and time of day. May as well add season to the list, heh.
Because THAT can't be done with reshade.
I can do it. I may end up doing it.
