I originally ported this mod from LE to SE for a console port to Xbox, but figured I would release it for SE on PC as well. The HDT physics for the tail were removed in order to get it to work on console. Animations were also removed as they affected all horses. If you want the animations from the original mod, you can use the ones from Skyrim Horse Renewal, since they are the same ones. Huge thanks to PraedythXVI for help with getting this working for SE!
There is now a FOMOD that will allow you to choose between different color options for the mane and tail as well as choose between ESP vs ESP-FE (ESL Flagged).

I had to reskin the mesh when converting to SE from LE due to the HDT bones. It is not perfect and I will probably come back to this later to polish it, but it works for now. The underbelly has some mildly jagged vertices and with some movements the mesh will deform a bit, but overall it is not noticeable. I made a couple UV tweaks to improve the appearance of the chainmail under the armor and also to fix a seam that ran down the back of the horse mesh.

This mod includes horse's mesh, skeleton, textures for horse (diffuse and normal maps), saddle.
Compatibility:
This mod IS NOT (!) compatible with any horses saddles/armory mods!
This mod IS compatible with Convenient Horses: you have to place this mod under CH in your mod's order.
Where to find:
You may find this horse in abandoned camp not far from Morthal. There is a dead soldier in the tent, you may read the journal of him in case you are interested in history of Bucephalus. In case you get another horse Bucephalus will wait you on the location you leaved him.
