TES V: Skyrim
Solar's Portable Crafting
By Solar T
Version 1.4se Legendary
============================================================
Description
===========
Portable Crafting Stations that can be placed and picked up again anywhere in the game world! Not just vanilla, but several new stations, including unique quest rewards invaluable to an adventurer in the wilds of Skyrim. Build many crafting stations at a forge, or seek out information on new and unique ones.

NOTE: Until SKSE64 is released, the Font of Disenchantment will -not- work. The script is designed not to activate if the Script Extender isn't detected, so this won't cause any problems with your stability or saves. I appologise for any inconvenience, and will update the Font the moment SKSE64 is released, or I find a workaround for the script. Keep an eye on http://silverlock.org/ for updates reguarding SKSE64

============
Installation
============
Nexus Mod Manager works best, but if you prefer Manual Installation, just place all the files from this 7-zip file in your Skyrim/Data folder!

==============
Uninstallation
==============
Again, Nexus Mod Manager works best if you used that for installing. If you installed manually, delete Solar's Portable Crafting.esp, Solar's Portable Crafting.bsa and this readme. That's it!

============
How it Works
============

Most stations are craftable at a forge, with the exception of the Workbench, Grinding Wheel, Transmutation Cube and Orb of Dispulsion. See list of Crafting stations for information on how to aquire there.

Once you have the Crafting Kit, drop it anywhere in the area you want. The Crafting Kit uses the same model as the actual crafting station, so you can see how it looks and how large it is, as well as place it how you want. Activating the Crafting Kit will open a menu that gives you three options. Place the actual station in the exact spot at the exact angle as where the Kit was placed. Pick it back up. And finally, exit, if you want to move it around a bit more.

Once placed and locked in place, activating the Crafting Station will open the crafting menu normally like any other station in the game world.

To access the menu system, simply sneak/crouch when activating the Crafting station and you will recieve the following options:
- Pick Up
Places the Stations's kit back in your inventory and removes the Station from the game world.
- Movement
Allows you to adjust and fine tune the station's placement, just in case you need to move it
- Angle
Allows you to adjust the station's angle from any axis.
- Exit
Speaks for itself.

The New Crafting Stations
=========================

==Font of Disenchantment==
Artifact - Obtained via Quest
NOTE: Requires SKSE64. Only this station requires SKSE64 to function or be accessible. Without SKSE64, all other crafting systems will function. Unfortunatly, SKSE64 is not yet released, however, once it is released (estimated mid-march), it can be found here. http://silverlock.org/. The original SKSE for Skyrim will NOT work. I appologise for any inconvenience.

An extremely rare device that allows an individual to wipe the slate clean on items. Enchantments and Modifications can be removed from most items, with the exception being unique items, Artifacts or Daedric Items. Rumor has it, that such a device has been located in Cyrodiil recently, within some Ayleid ruins. (Quest comes to you, once certain criteria are met).

The Font is not a standard crafting station. It works like a container, where you place items you wish to disenchant into the Font. The script then processes the item and returns the finished product into your inventory automatically.

Notable Points:
- Daedric Artifacts or any item that uses a unique or custom model is NOT disenchant-able and will not be.
- Stolen weapons and armor gets their stolen flags reset. It's not intentional, just an end result of how the script currently works. If I find a better way to handle this device, I WILL remove this unintentional side effect. This does not affect other items. A stolen book or soul gem, for example, will still be stolen if you try throwing them in the font.
- Slow Processing. Due to just how many weapons/armor pieces this script has compare to (to find the correct base item), enchanted items found in game can take up to 5 seconds to process and return to your inventory. Self enchanted/modified items will be processed instantly, though.

==Enchanting Font==
Artifact - Obtained via Quest
Although nothing special as far as enchanting goes, this alternate Enchanting Station is perfect for dark or evil lairs, or just for that collector of rare antiques. The Font is one of, if not -the- last of it's kind, from an era long past. The only question is, where could such an artifact be hidden? Perhaps there's some literature on the subject in a place where one could study or read about enchanting?

==Grinding Bowl==
Allows you to grind down skulls into bonemeal, as well wheat into flour. Uses the flag isGrainmill, which means, anything that can be ground down at Grain Mills at farms, can be ground down with the Grinding Bowl

==Mixing Station==
A skilled Alchemist knows how to get the most potency out of a mixture. Even if it requires them to take several weaker mixtures and proccess them together to strengthen them.

Basically, 3 of a potion yeilds 1 of the next step up. So three Potions of Minor Healing will yeild one Potion of Healing, and so on until you reach the strongest version of that specific potion type. This only works for default normal potions, not for anything you mix at an Alchemy Station. Sorry, but If there's a way to let you mix/improve crafted potions, I've yet to find it.

==Orb of Dispulsion==
Artifact - Obtained via Quest
Tired of finding Soul Gems with weak souls? Accidently filled your Grand Soul Gem with a Petty Soul? With this ancient device, you can wipe a Soul Gem clean, without destroying the gem or comprimising it's quality. So that Grand Soul Gem can be erased and used again toward a proper Grand Soul!

The Orb is part ofa lost technology and cannot be crafted or bought. Most enchanters and researchers only think these a rumor or myth. Perhaps if you had access to a proper library, you could find some information concerning the Orb.

==Transmutation Cube==
Artifact - Obtained via Quest
This powerful, mysterious device is one of a kind. Created by an unknown individual. It allows the combination of three similar items to produce an item of greater quality. An example would be taking three Sapphires to create a Flawless Sapphire, or three Lesser Soul Gems to create a Normal Soul Gem.

The only problem is, with no knowledge on how this device works, crafting or purchase is impossible. What little information that's out there, seems to indicate the cube has a Dwemer style design to it. Perhaps an expert on the Dwemer may have some information if one can be found?

==Study==
Allows you to reduce clutter, yet still save all those recipies you've collected in your travels. Write you own books of recipies and throw out those countless scraps of paper. For example. Once you've collected all Spider Forge recipies, you can use them to write a book of recipies for the forge, thus eliminating the need to hang onto all those scraps of paper.

Create a three volume tome on Alchemy. A two volume tome on the Atronach Forge. Even write a book on Spider Forge recipies, or take all those treasure maps you found around the world and make a book out of them. You can even salvage damaged books for rolls of paper to use toward writting your books.

Because the list of required materials can be hard to read, unlike other crafting stations, I'll list exactly what you can make and need bellow. The first line is the core materials to make the book, the rest are the recipies required. The numbers indicate how many different recipies of the same name there are, NOT that you need 2 or 3 of the same item.

--Treasure Maps--
x6 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
Treasure Maps I through X, the Fort Neugrad Treasure Map, and Velehk Sain's Treasure Map

--Recipes Vol. I: Basics--
x5 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
Both Cure Disease Recipies. All three Restore Health and Restore Magicka recipies

--Recipes Vol. II: Advanced--
x6 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
2 Carry Weight Recipies, 2 Invisibility Recipies, 2 Resist Fire Recipies, 2 Resist Frost Recipies, Resist Poison Recipie, 2 Resist Shock Recipies

--Recipes Vol. III: Poisons--
x4 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
3 Damage Health Recipies, 2 Fear Recipies, 2 Paralysis Recipies

--Atronach Forge Recipies Vol. I--
x7 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
All 14 normal Atronach Forge Recipies

--Atronach Forge Recipies Vol. II--
x8 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
All 17 Atronach Forge Recipies written in Daedric

--Spider Forge Recipies--
x6 Rolls Paper, 2 Leather Strips, 1 Leather
All fourteen Spider Forge recipies without x2 in the title.
** The reason behind this is, it's more likely you'll find 14 recipies than ALL 26 recipies you can possibly find. And the excluded recipies are the same of as none x2 version, only indicating use of a Flawless gem intead of a normal one. Something made clear in the notes you find with the Spider forge, so knowledge you, as the Dragonborn, would already have.

Version History
===============
Version 1.4se Legendary
- New menu added to the Marker you drop from your inventory. This gives you greater control over it's placement or picking back up.
- Small bug fix to the Disenchanting Font quest, which was causing the quest not to always trigger.
- Havok fixes to a couple items during the placement phase. Woodcutting Block, for example, was acting strange.
- Finally fixed dropping the items from inventory, so they appear in front of you, instead of behind or on top of you.
- Collision and Havok fixes for a few items. Scribe's Study, for example, shouldn't have Havok enabled after it'd been placed.
- Fixed some potentially major instabilities with a few of the meshes.
- Did some repair work on a few models that weren't displaying animation or lighting effects properly
- Smelter marker is finally moveable as it should be.
- Moving markers around is now more stable. Walking into them (with the exception of smaller objects, such as the Orb of Dispulsion), will no longer move them. Plus you now walk when moving the objects (due to improvements in their Mass and Inertia), which allows a more realistic method of movement and minimizes chances for the Havok to spaz out.

Version 1.3.1se
- Initial Special Edition release

Version 1.3.1
- Bug fix. Transmutation Cube quest had incorrect script property data attached, resulting in the wrong quest reward.

Version 1.3
- Tanning rack's 3rd person animation is oddly off. This is now corrected
- Several misc model fixes that were previously an optional download are now incorporated.
- Scribe's Study 3rd person animation is off. This has been disabled for the time being.
- Scribe's Study recipes no longer require having a quil and pen to make documents.
- Dwemer Transmutation Cube can down break down gems as well.
- Grinding Bowl, Transmutation Cube, Orb of Dispulsion, Scribe's Study kits are now usable from inventory, as well as when placed down.
- Fine Tuned the Collision and Havok settings for many of the meshes.

Version 1.2
- Font of Disenchantment added with a short quest
- Scribe's Study Added
- Smelter Added
- Sharpening Wheel now craftable. DLC version requires stone. non-DLC version requires more of the other materials to compensate
- Retextured the Portable Workbench tops to be wooden, so crafting makes sense with vanilla materials
- Minor tweaks with Havok and Collision on some items
- Misc tweaks, such as fixing the required materials needed for several stations
- Altered the model for the Enchanting Font to Differentiate it from the Disenchanting Font

Version 1.1
