I'm not sure why, but testing this on a new save seems to make animals... laggy. The wolf attack on the way to Riverrun from Helgen doesn't trigger at the right time with this installed for some reason. Removing it allows it to load as usual.
In my bigger load order, before narrowing it down and redoing it, when fighting the wolves (and also foxes) there were large lags and audio delays as well. I'm not sure if this mod is it, but I'm gonna keep experimenting and try to narrow it down.
Hey, so just to confirm if we use the consistency patches should we avoid using Unofficial Skyrim Modder's Patch - USMP SE? as well? Or does USMP just cover the base module?
At one time Savage Skyrim supported the functionality of NARC so that the animals it modified would not support crimes. I have not tested this recently and do not see it mentioned on the mod page.
Thank you for your reply , i use Savage Skyrim because i love a challenge and i like Hardcore Survival a bit. Ofc also because of its meshes , like everyone else.
80% sounds great , so i will still add your mod to cover the other things that Savage isnt touching and patch for myself if needed.
Would it be possible to just make a fomod asking for any needed patches instead of giving them all to us and having everyone deactivate a bunch of .esp files that they never even needed?
I have created Fomod for my other mods but have recently realized that the amount of time I'm putting into making that Fomod pretty will eventually have no effect on the game itself which is why I'm not going to create Fomod for the next update of all my mods. In addition, this mod will rarely be updated after this next version I'm working on; maybe once or twice per year. Once you set optional files in your mod manager you won't have to fix it again unless it's updated and even then, it really doesn't take that much time to do it.
The real sad thing is that mods like this are even needed this far into the game. Of all the things Bethesda just let slide, you would think this one they might have fixed themselves.
