    I know it's been a while since this mod last had a comment posted, but for anyone who might still be having trouble getting this to work when you have nemesis, I've found a solution that works for me 100% of the time. 

    First, run nemesis for any other mods you might've downloaded that would affect animations or what not. 
    Second, download the compatibility version of this mod and enable/deploy it. 

    Do not run nemesis again. You can immediately launch your game, no problem, and the mod should work.

    The stickied post here from "sarahannmarie123" is not correct. Simply overwriting Nemesis output with the prebuilt behaviors from this mod will break any mod that actually had a Nemesis patch impacting those files. This mod simply will never be properly compatible with other behavior mods without a proper patch to merge the functionality.

    i should have probably said this a long time ago, somewhere else but i dont know the difference between esl and esp, matter a fact i dont know what they even are

      I'm not an expert, but here is what I understand of ESP/ESL. ESL is a somewhat more modern mod package which was not compatible with older Skyrim versions. Advantage of an ESL is the fact that such mod is kinda standalone from all other Skyrim plugins and so it doesn't occupy a plugin slot in your mod list (it is limited to 255 plugins or smth and if you have more than that Skyrim won't launch). With ESL's you can have more active plugins without merging mods! It has some disadvantages for advanced modders who need some in-depth cross-compatibility between different mods, but that shouldn't bother you unless you encounter bugs.

      What diver said is correct.  There is a hard limit of 255 plugins aka mods.
      The file format mods use is called a ".esp" until Special Ed came out and gave us a new type of file format mods can use called an ".esl"
      You can now have 255 esp's and 1000's of esl's running at the same time giving you more freedom to add as many mods as you want.
      You can also change some esp's into esl's in a process called elsification.
      ESL's have a limit of how many changes/modifications to game records they can make.  When I say change /modify game records this just refers to what most all mods are doing, they are changing or modifying or adding to the game records.  ESL's have a limit on how much you can change a games records, change to many records and the file will not be small enough to turn into an esl and will have to remain an ESP.  You cannot modify an esl file, you have to change it into an esp, this is really just info useful to mod authors now.  There are also ESM files and these are called "master" files like dragonborn, dawngaurd and Skyrim itself they are all master files and those are few and far between.

    Might not work with Nemesis but works for me with Pandora.

    edit:  must be installed after pandora has been run.  just like the sticky post about Nemesis.

    It has been 4 years since the creation of this mod. You may have met Nemesis. I would like an underwater battle with a modification Combat Gameplay Overhaul SE . Somehow, I was able to combine CBE and CGO to have the underwater combat of the first mod and all the other benefits overwritten by the CGO mod. But then I decided to add another mod to the generation and forgot how I achieved the previous results. So I'm asking you to create a patch or something like that.

      I am not obliged to make continuous updates for the rest of eternity.
      I am as of this writing a 37 year old guy who works full time as a car disassembler.  I am trying my best to balance life and still mod.  Skyrim is my all time favorite game and I will literally be modding this game until I die because I love this game.  But it is not fair of anyone to expect or demand updates on any mod from any mod author.  We (most of us) do this for FREE in our spare time.  I don't care if it's been 28 years since I released this, either take up modding your own self or try and exude a little more patience in your requests.  I just got off from working a gruelling 8 hour shift and almost took this as rude until I had my medicina :)  


      But with that made clear, I am working on something very big.  Bigger than any mod author has ever done before.   

      I haven't released anything in over a year if you check my profile, no updates nada zip zero zilch....  Because, I have just created another warehouse type mod similar to my MMA Warehouse mod. (it's unreleased right now)  With the addition of my new unreleased warehouse mod I can create mods faster than I've ever made mods before.  And I'm probably one of the fastest mod makers there ever was, I literally created the entireity of Paint It Blackreach in 1 month.  I obsess over my hobbies, and streamline everything I do, it's why I can make mods so fast.  And now, I'm faster than ever.  

      I will be updating all of my current mods, I will also be adding egregious amounts of new mods.  When will this happen?  I no longer give timelines, but I will say this year at some point you will see me start stirring.  Until then, there is an underwater weapon mod made by opusglass if I remember correctly, give that a try.

      I'm not much younger than you, and I work too. I'm not good at creating mods, but I've made a few mods and I've posted one small mod here. I'm not encouraging modelers to do something quickly or at all, but just asking. I solved the problem and remembered doing it partially, so my words above don't make sense. I'll be happy to see your mods when they come out. At one time, I wanted someone to help me or even make a modification that would require not only experience to level up the character, but also gold, which would increase by 250 with each level to raise the level. A dialog box would pop up with the phrase "Would you like to level up for (if the character is level 3, for example, then 250*3= 750 gold) "X" gold. I wrote in the mod "Experience", I wrote in the mod "Raising the level after sleep", but I did not achieve the desired result. No one wants or can make such a mod. I started studying the articles myself, but I'm not sure if I can do it. I hope you like the idea and maybe someday you will make such a mod. Thanks for your attention

    it would be so cool if there was version where only ice magic (ice spikes etc) and short one handed weapons like daggers work underwater.

    This mod does what it's supposed to but DO NOT have it enabled when entering Raven Rock from Windhelm via the boat for the first time or any other first person encounter. This mod is solely a mod to enable when you are simply playing the game without major cutscenes playing. Simply disable it if you run into a cutscene that is broken. You can see problems other people are having if you look at the bugs section, otherwise it works as intended and is a rather easy, but vaguely annoying work around.

      I've tried but I have nemesis so I don't know if it's because of nemesis or because of vr that it doesn't work. I also tried this mod

      and it SORT OF works. I can cast spells underwater but not melee attacks. It's possible I installed it incorrectly, but I think I will just make do with what I have. Weapon throw still works underwater, and you don't even need your weapon unsheathed to do it so you can just pretend you're playing Gauntlet (old game) while underwater. You can also get
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/42962. It makes you sink to the bottom if you're in all heavy armor and once you're at the bottom behaves exactly as if you're not underwater. read read read read the descriptions on these or you'll likely have a bad time.
