HAZE LIGHTS
Firelit immersion

Haze Lights
changes all or some light sources (depending on the version you choose) to be more natural, emanating light as if it truly comes from a fire.

It also makes torches and magic lights more useful, by making them stronger and lasting longer.
One Haze Lights version makes these light sources also cast shadows for added immersion.

Lastly, it includes a new type of torch that you may find in the world of Skyrim, a durable torch which lasts even longer and lights even stronger. It's rare though...

All features are script-less. Zero performance cost, zero delay.

Haze Lights comes in 3 different versions:
a) Haze Lights. Changes light sources to feel more natural, adds shadow casting to some who needed it, and strengthens the duration and light of torches and magelight/candlelight.
b) Haze Lights + Torches Cast Shadows. All of the above, plus all torches and magelight/candlelight now cast shadows. This can still fall victim to the 4 shadow casting lights limit*. If that bothers you, install Light Limit Fix and use it alongside this mod.
c) Haze Lights - Torches and Magiclights only. This version doesn't cover any light sources other than torches and magelight/candlelight spells. It makes them stronger and lasting longer, but leaving shadow casting options at vanilla.

There are also patches included for Medieval Torch, Wearable Lanterns, Quick Light and Usable Lantern.

* The torches casting shadows are automatically switchable in my mod. The torch stops casting shadows when the engine detects 4 other shadow-casting sources in the scene. When these light sources do not affect the scene anymore, the torch starts casting shadows again. There is no script needed for
that, the game engine does it automatically (with a setting I put in my light sources). But that can get annoying enough...

Haze Lights does not make any changes in the placement of light sources, nor does it change any flame textures. This way you can use retextures and other lighting mods such as ELFX or Relighting Skyrim as the base and then load Haze Lights on top of them.

Bugs
Shadows Cause CTD : "This is an immense addon for my load order which is massive and I mean MASSIVE. This bug is sort of closed in a way but you should warn people
sternly on the front of the mod page about heavy usage of shadows depending on end users load order or mod lists." - juzu1234
So there you have it. A heavy load order with too many lighting mods introduces a small chance of CTDing.
