I notice when replacing a few of my other mods with this I see a few patches for those mods. So will this need a patch for Animated Forge Waters like ElSopa's Medieval Anvil or with Better Bellows or Capital Windhelm Expansion? I'm just putting the names out there in case they need them. I had one for Welding Man's Smelter but yours already takes care of compatibility with Embers and ENB Light.
thanks for the input! tbh i think it shouldn´t matter, because my mod is not touching the forge, just the smelter. as for the anvil, just load the one you want last.
Hello Rally. I'm using your AIO as I highly enjoy all of your work but I have one minor issue with the smithy. The hammer, when not being used, has splotches of white? blank? textures throughout the model. However, when being used, the model is perfectly fine. I have tried downloading both the 4k and 2k versions and have your AIO near the bottom of my modlist. I also do not know how to attach photos sorry. Edit: I am looking through your photos now and the base of your anvil seems be wood while mine is something black so I believe whatever is changing my base might be the issue. Sorry for not being more thorough. Edit Edit: It was Animated Forge Water. Sorry again!
*found: ah it's not compatible with Embers HD as it has unique blacksmithmarker meshes, so anvil/smelter from this mod won't show (in places like Whiterun bc this mod doesn't have blacksmithmarkers). Will not work to overwrite Realistic HD Blacksmith as well
Yeah no worries, just reporting what I figured out for anyone that uses Embers HD or unique markers, I didn't suspect the forge embers would relate to the anvil or smelter before
solution if don't like vanilla/smim embers: Embers XD reverts back to vanilla references in its markers, so can take all markers from Embers XD and overwrite Embers HD/Realistic HD Blacksmith/unique forge markers (meshes located in: furniture (3), clutter>blacksmith (1), and dlc02>architecture>ravenrock (1)), include ember textures
I'm not a PC user so I'm not exactly following what you mean about markers here, but i'm wondering if simply running Embers XD below Rally's is compatible? Do they not still conflict on the lava / smelter meshes?
Dang it. I was hoping this would be a complete blacksmith texture pack. Still impressive, though! I like that it looks realistic.
But now I must ask a question: what would you recommend for the smelter, forge, tanning rack, workbench, grinding wheel, and other blacksmith items that will match your mod seamlessly?
I'm not sure if it's on my end, but after installing this, the anvils stopped working. The crafting menu shows up, but no animation or sound being played, and NPCs refuse to use the anvil altogether. The forge however, works flawlessly.
I've reinstalled your mod and made sure it overwrites everything. Turns out one of the animated hammers I had was faulty. Everything works flawlessly now.
hey by any chance you could return back to solstheim modding, I could not find a retexture for the shrines inside the temple on ravenrock and apocrypha clutter like chests... never seen someone do this retextures or I could not find them anywhere on all 60+ pages of nexus texture mods... the shrines in temple are called dlc02godplinths and dlc02godplinthblank, the chests containers on apocrypha I could not find the names, again this is a request and you can ignore it I dont want force anything on you.
