- Fixed procedural CC 'alpha' bug as per the updated ENB 310 release from 11-Jan-2017, identified by Marty McFly: "procedural correction took alpha channel of color into account, hence different alpha produced different colors".
Version 2.0
- Updated all Adaptation Min and Max parameters to accept three decimal places (e.g. 0.025) because this feature really benefits from this finer level of control, making configuration a bit easier.
- This refinement also now allows the 'Neutral' configuration from the 'Optional Files' section to ACTUALLY be 100% neutral with respect to the default enbeffect.fx file that comes with ENB for Skyrim SE. Without the third decimal place for adaptation, the config was a TINY bit brighter than the default file.
- Re calibrated the default configuration (i.e. the enbeffect.fx.ini file in the 'enbseries' folder) based on an overall gamma value of 2.2, with a refined balance of all parameters for all times of day.
- NOTE ON UPDATING: If you already have an ENB DNI configuration you like, you can simply replace the enbeffect.fx file (and NOT the .ini file) to preserve your current settings while still benefiting from the refined adaptation parameters.
- FUN FACT: The new default configuration is the one I am currently using as I put together my 'Enhanced Shaders for Skyrim SE' ENB preset

More people should know about this mod. The default ENB settings do not contain these more advanced settings. With mod I can control everything that is enb related. Thanks for mod!!!
Oh my!!! I've been looking for exactly this! ENB that only allows to tweak brightness without any other effects. Somehow I found it 6 years after it appeared and only thanks to description on Clean and Simple ENB. Thank you so much for making this!
thanks so much for this, i've been using since it's release. your DOF tutes were great too. I was wondering if you've made any updates since 3.20? i know Boris added a few new features. Looking fwd to any updates you might have done...
Unfortunately, with Vivid Weathers/True Storms and this installed, the brightness will shoot up during the night when it's raining. It will basically become daytime at 5 am. God dammit...
With a few tweaks, this blew me away. My ideal setup would be non-enb (not just default enb, original processing) for the day and enb for the nights and interiors. Seems like that's impossible however, because even the default enb looks different than original processing. Regardless, I've gotten closest to it with this. Thanks
Hi I am fairly new to using ENBs , I have been having a issue where the time of day in the ENB menu is locking with a night value of 1.00 and the other values will either be locked on the daytime or switch whenever I fast travel(which can make for a very bright screen at times). I do have a lot of mods running just wondering if I clicked something wrong or if you know of a fix.
Got a question. What if I just want to change the interiors value? See, I'm using Dolomite Weathers, and a ReShade designed for it. It looks good, but the interiors are a touch too dark.
I tried just deleting all the other values, but they regenerate when ENB starts up. I could spend hours trying to tweak all those values in order to get the ReShade looking like it usually does without the changes ENB makes by default. Anyway I could just make ENB affect interiors, and maybe nights?
Looks like exactly what I have been missing. Most ENB make interiors way too dark, and often way too dark nights. I prefer to able to see things clearly. With this, looks like I can finally adjust it to my liking.
So, I'm unable to use this tool properly because the ENB I'm using (one I'm making from scratch), doesn't have all of the TOD fields set. Dawn, Sunset, Dusk, and Night, are all set to 0.00, and editing the values in the enbeffect.fx for any of those TODs yields no change. I understand this is most likely not the fault of your mod, but I'm wondering if you could help me out. I'm sort of new to making my own presets, and I can't figure out how to edit the TOD values.
The default values for each of the settings are in the enbeeffect.fx file, but to change the settings in your game, you must change the settings of the enbeffect.fx.ini file within the enbseries.ini folder. These are also the settings that are modified in-game in the 'Shader Parameters' panel of the ENB interface. If there is no enbeffect.fx.ini file found in the enbseries folder, then ENB automatically creates one when you boot up the game, using the default values from the enbeffect.fx file. Hope this helps?
The problem that I'm having is that changing most (but not all) of the parameters added by your file don't affect anything in-game. For example, if I adjust "Brightness - Dusk" it has absolutely no affect on the game, at any time-of-day. If I alter the value for "Brightness - Day" it changes the brightness of the game. Funnily enough, it changes the brightness at any time-of-day, in addition to just the daytime.
What I meant when I said the TOD values aren't set, is that when I open the statistics field in the overlay, only Day and Sunrise have a value: 0.91 and 0.09, respectively. The rest of them (Dawn, Sunset, Dusk, and Night) are all set to 0.00. I think this has something to do with the problem as all of the "Day" and "Sunrise" parameters have an affect in game, but none of the "Dawn," "Sunset," "Dusk," or "Night" parameters have any affect in game.
EDIT: Sorry about the smiley faces, didn't even notice that showed up until now, a few days later.
