Howdy,

This is a reupload of the awesome-as-heck mod Colorful Map Markers by WildGoat07 with a few fixes and extra compatibility.

The original mod included some large files that, when combined with certain mods, could cause CTDs when Skyrim ran out of memory to allocate to the HUD. After a false start, a few days of testing, and a lot of tedious fiddling, I've managed to resolve all the issues.

This bug has now been fixed in the latest SSE Engine Fixes!
My mod is still useful due to the optimizations I've made, and the new Less Intrusive HUD II patch.

Included in the FOMOD are options for:
-SkyUI
-SkyUI + SkyHUD
-SkyUI + Less Intrusive HUD II
-Vanilla

Make sure this loads after your HUD of choice.

beebophuckleberry has confirmed that this is compatible with original mod's 360 Compass patch. Thank you!

This does not reduce the size of the markers on the map in game, there is no visual difference.
If you would like that feature, I highly recommend Smaller Map Markers for SkyUI by rusecraft.

Fully compatible (and recommended to use with):
Atlas Map Markers with MCM
Undiscovered Means Unknown (thank you BrinaSair!!)

Check out Colo(u)rful Nordic UI Markers by CyborgArmGun if you want a cool-themed version based on Nordic UI!

I did not create the art in this, please endorse the original mod!

Thanks to:
SirJesto - for pointing out what was right in front of me
Ebsalom - for killing his computer in the name of science, and testing
Ryan - for being so quick to fix the issue and push out a new SSE Engine Fixes update
Everyone on the r/skyrimmods Discord for being so danged cool!

Cheers!

(I also fixed the awful spelling error in the original mod's name)
