I haven't tested with the original Spells Emit Light but I can confirm it works with Lights On - Spells Emit Light -https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18277
Lights On is a bit simpler in terms of how its lighting works because it just uses the existing in-hand lighting effect from the vanilla spells (or spells added by mods like Apocalypse) and modifies them to have similar lighting values as a standard torch (brightness, radius, etc). The original Spells Emit Light mod uses a much more heavy-handed approach that adds new dynamic lights and requires a bit more effort to create patches for mods that add new spells or in-hand effects.
This mod (ConjurationHandFX) adds a new in-hand spell effect for each Conjuration spell in order to load a new texture for the little glowy orb. The lighting effect on the orb is the same as the vanilla lighting for the default conjuration spell effect so the glow for all conjuration spells will be the same purple glow. The original Oldrim version of this mod had unique glowing effects for each conjuration spell to match the color of the orb so I'm hoping this one can be updated to match that style.
I've created a proof-of-concept patch for Lights On and ConjurationHandFX in my game that has worked beautifully and uses the original per-spell color effects. I have submitted it to the mod author for Lights On to hopefully be added as a compatibility patch for their mod. If I don't hear back from them or if they don't want to include it I will send it over to JakeDuck to be added to this mod.
sorry its an old post, just started playing this with spells emit light and it does work, just shows the default purple, if we want to show orange hue and other colours etc, we will need to let the mod author know it can be compatible with spells emit light mod.
Very nice MOD and looks amazing with Spells Emit Light, the only thing is... Don't work with PoS. The Twin Souls perk works, but the Witch Familiar perk lose the effect.
Hey, can you also easily change the shape of the blob that appears in the hand? I'm wondering if for bound weapons, rather than a sphere, a simplified version of the item could be displayed (e.g. a super-coarse low-poly version) instead; that way you can reserve colored spheres for minions and just have purple mini-swords / mini-daggers / mini-greataxes (also fewer colors to keep track of)
Triumvirate has custom effects for some, like the "call raven" or "call snakes" are different from the stock "summon X".
I would only request custom effects for the bound weapons. I use a mark & recall mod that uses the stock conjuration effect, so I can't tell if I'm about to summon a sword or teleport home LOL
