About this mod

Do you love the atmosphere of Rudy ENB but miss the massive amount of customization in Silent Horizons ENB? well so did i. this preset is mostly rudy enb and his work but i have replaced the enbeffectpostpass, enbdepthoffield, enblens, and enbeffectprepass files.

If you run into any issues with the enb or want to learn more about how the presets work you can find pretty much everything on either the

Silent Horizons modpage
or the
Rudy modpage

This preset is only made for obsidian weathers at the moment

I might get around to adapting it for other weathers too but i have no plans to at the moment

Luts

there is a tutorial that teaches you how to make luts work with silent horizons postpass made by lonelykitsune that is included, everything you need to know is there.

Installation

first make sure you have enb helper se
make sure that you have the latest enb binarygo to your skyrimprefs.ini file either in mod organizer or in documents>mygames>skyrimspecialedition

  • changes these each of these options to what's written

bSAO_CS_Enable=0
bSAOEnable=0
bEnableImprovedSnow=0
bVolumetricLightingEnable=1
bUse64bitsHDRRenderTarget=1
bDrawLandShadows=1
fGamma=1.0000
bDoDepthOfField=1

open your enb binary file and copy the d3d11.dll files and d3dcompiler.dll files into your skyrim directory
nothing else
Then open my enb file and copy the contents of the silent rudy folder into your directory

Gui customization
In my opinion the best way to adjust your enb with this setup is to manage brightness and general exposure with enbeffect.fx till you are happy
then you go to the enbeffectpostpass.fx shader and take advantage of kitsune's wonderful color grading suite. finally, this is specific for screenarchers who want even more control and not for most users. DONT MAKE THESE CHANGES PERMANANT UNLESS YOU  KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING.
enable your weathers tab and go to environment where you can adjust the curve and intensity of your light sources from point lighting(torches and other lights), direct lighting(the sun for the most part) and ambient lighting which is self explanatory.
