Unfortunately, it seems I don’t have an all-in-one solution for the vanilla interiors as I initially thought. Your best option might be to use interior mods that effectively replace the display cases.
Can I get a small tutorial how to set this up manually? There is a more than 1 esp for some houses and I'm kinda scared I'm going to mess something up in my game. Sorry for asking this after a year
No my bad, I named that one as I was just noting down some of the CC content with homes.
Thanks for the update! Gallows Hall being a nice necromancer home, now I can finally display my weapons properly rather then having them clip/jump out of the case at random.
Okay, finally got to test out the display cases in the Tundra Homestead, and all four of them work accordingly. I'd want to say thank you very much for porting these over, shame that the Playstation folks can't enjoy this. You'd think that something like this would've been officially patched by the Bethesda Team or something right?
Glad to ear the port did work. There should be a workaround to make it work on Playstation but I do not have the time to dive into some research right now.
The FOMod installer looks for the cceejsse001-hstead.esm file in your data folder, maybe your plugin has a different name? In the meantime you can install manually the plugins without using the FOMod.
No it's there. I double checked my load order and it's there letter by letter. Is it possible the FMod isn't picking it up because I cleaned it with SSEEdit?
Even if you modified the plugin, the installer should not notice the difference since it is only looking for the file name. Are you using Vortex or MO2?
Oh I see Vortex deals differently with the Creation Club content plugins. You should be good with the new file I just uploaded. Thanks for letting me know.
I plan to add a fix in this mod for all the other houses. I may do it this week or next week. In the meantime you can check out this video tutorial. Let me know if you upload a mod or your own fixing that.

it helps when people have lotd in their LO
The vanilla cases are pretty much useless, so I'm glad a mod like this exists to actually fix it.
