This mod brings Whtierun to life and naturally plugs in with JK's Whiterun, SBT, etc. (any and all Whtierun overhaul mods) with hand placed plants and trees, and re-textures the ground and walls for a more vibrant feel.Looks great with any whiterun retexture mod but Whiterun overhaul mods and texture mods are not required for this mod to work.

minor house keeping update - A user request 2 trees deleted by the Bannered Mare when using JKs Whiterun and Simply bigger Trees. I deleted those trees only in the JK Skyrim - Dawn of Skyrim - and More plugin since the and more implies other mods so it seemed fitting.
The house keeping part is I reviewed my textures again and compressed them better so this should shorten load times. Walls are still 4k but the dirt is 2k which is way more then enough too. Also I noticed I had 2 height maps still as .png so I converted them to .dds they arent in use yet but I want to keep my work clean.

Minor update to textures only - mod is still over 9000 - Specifically I re-worked the normal map - I may make another attempt at it again but right now I really love the updated normal map for the wall. I also darkened the rock wall texture just a smidge to give it more of a solid feel. I got access to a professional used AI upscaler as well and upscaled the grass and rock wall textures from 2k to 4K as a reminder higher resolution textures only affect your VRAM and in a innner world space like whiterun you wont have any impact your not rendering a lot. I also created height maps for all the testures (aka parallax textures) so that if one day some mod author creates a mesh that supports parallax for these texture they will be good to go. Also I got permission from Pfucher (mod author of Skyrim 202X) to use some of his texture which I used his high resolution dirt texture to replace my low resolution aMiddianborn dirt texture and I created a option grass texture for whiterun from his Pine Forest Grass texture. I love the look of this texture but I felt like on the streets etc it looked more like lawn mower grass clippings instead of real grass so I was on the fence about not including it but I figured eh ill keep it as a optional file. I think the original looks better imo however.

Where to begin.... This update is over 9000 to start and I figured out how to make a custom texture using the original aMiddianBorn grass and wall texture with a transparency which allows for grass to blend into the road - no more sheer lines. Because of this texture set mapping, mesh alterations, none of that is required now so I deleted all references in the .esp to texture set mapping and meshes. I removed the installer.. its no longer needed no meshes are included you just need my textures. I edited flora even more to ensure that there is no clipping etc. I created a custom wall texture to match the grass and my own normal map for it. Like litterally its simple, streamlined, it looks professional like it shipped with the game, the grass and roads blend beautifully and MOST IMPORTANTLY EVERYTHING is now compatible. Like if a mod changes the meshes GOOD, if a mod adds more stuff great! like for the JK version of this mod I just deleted 6 trees that clipped through some things he addd but everything he adds uses the whiterun textures.. which i made a custom textures for .. SO all his shit looks like it was made for my mod... same to any other mod out there. ELFX? go for it use their mesh or updated meshes it doesnt matter. The only thing you have to do. Period no exception. Install my textures and repalce all. Period. Install my textures and repalce all when prompted and never overwrite my textures. You do that and itll be green and beautiful and always look right. I personally use Skyrim 202X textures and guess what.. looks amazing works with my mod just overwrite our conflicting textures with mine.
Oh and I no longer needed any tree references due to my changes so those all got deleted no more overlap with happy little trees (highly recommend btw) also i reviewed EVERY single edit in this mod and deleted any wild edits. This is clean, polished, and professional. Im very excited to see what the communitys says and thinks and to see your screenshots.

Waterflows from skryim Update.esm were transfered into this mod. Its minor. Basically if waterflows are not transferred and you use this mod and only this mod (that is to say you do not use any other mod other then this one) you have the potential* to have water seams if the waterflows are not patched. This is a minor issue and likely impacts no one but multiple people have called it out and I knew about it I just didnt think it was a issue worth fixing but I put in the time to correct it.

Most of the changes here were FOMOD- basically I added the grass texture by aMiddenBorn author CaBal that I used to create the mod. This texture is not necessary for the mod to work but does deliver the experience I wanted for the user. The texture can be overridden by another mod if you want - its only 1 grass texture however but it wont hurt anything. That said, sometimes like in the case with Vivid Landscapes if the user decides to use the Vivid Landscape FieldGrass02 Texture instead of mine then the grass texture will show up in inappropriate areas in Whiterun. It is because of this I also included 2 additional files (one for JK's Whiterun and one normal one) which include only plant and tree edits. Users can use this version if they run into this issue and the inclusion of those 2 additional files was the only other change - its just more solutions to get the mod looking great for everyone thats all. No additional updates are expected at this time.

The only difference between 1.0 and 1.1 is small. Basically the USSEP Patched version still listed Majestic Mountains as a master incorrectly. I cleaned the masters resolving it.

What This Mod Includes This mod simply put adds a ton of hand-placed flowers, plants, and trees to Whiterun. In addition to this it uses a hand picked Whiterun rock wall texture and one grass initially texture created by the legendary CaBaL120 (The author of our beloved aMidianBorn Mods) which I edited to create new textures just for Whiterun and are compatible with any whiterun retexture you are already using. Compatible with ELFX, USSEP, Simply Bigger Trees, Jk's Whiterun, and Immersive Citizens this mod will work in tandem with all the hot mods out there today and has no none conflicts with any mod on nexus. This mod can be considered the natural official successor to the original Perfect Whiterun mod by ReVan1199. Personally I now use Skyrim 202X and just overwrite his textures with mine to make whiterun green and it looks spectacular.
