NVT removes vanilla trees. Individual plugins for different trees. With lite & full versions.


- Doesnt change trees added by mods

- Vanilla Trees are flagged disabled, nothing else

- The process is 100% accurate, it effectively eradicates thoses trees from Skyrim

- Clean & waterflow corrected

This mod cannot erase "persistent" trees. I wont edit this as it requires manual removal of a flag for EACH trees in a cell.
Also some may be needed by the game for different reasons. Anyway, it happens for a small number of trees.
It is not a bug.


Changelog

- 1.5 : The newer Dawnguard and dragonborn trees are covered in optional files. To remove all the trees from the locations added by the DLCs, the no vanilla trees FULL variant plugins are still needed on top as the new plugins target the NEW trees and there is a lot of vanilla trees in thoses locations.

- 1.4.5 : Added 2 optional files to disable new trees from dawnguard and solstheim only. They still require main Full variants to remove the vanilla trees included in DG and Sols' areas.
- 1.4 :  added no tundra tree
- 1.3 :  added no dead trees and no reach trees into the main archive. Everything ESPLified.



No Vanilla Trees

- Full versions include interior cells, all worlds and DLC, all terrains
- Lite versions include tamriel world only


6 Variants


- No pine removes all pine trees
- No Aspen removes all aspens trees
- No Snow trees removes all snow trees
- No Reach trees removes all reach trees
- No Dead trees removes all dead trees
- No Tundra tree removes all tundra trees  ; rarely used model, only 800 refs, it doesnt touch the pine trees of the tundra

No Pine trees: Rorikstead to whiterun tundra

As it's name suggests, it removes the pine trees for the tundra, only.
Can be used Alone - OR with No vanilla trees by replacing Nopinefull.esp or nopinelite.esp.
When used with No vanilla trees, pine trees wont appear on tundra but they will everywhere else,  while others trees will be completely removed.
Doesnt remove the tundra trees model, use no tundra trees for this, it works fine together.

No Solstheim Trees

Disable all the NEW (ash trees mostly) trees added on solstheim worldspace by dragonborn DLC. You still need no tree FULL Variants on top to remove all the vanilla trees included on solstheim.

No Dawnguard Trees

Disable all the NEW trees added in the Dawnguard DLC worldspaces, including the valley and the soul cairn. You still need no tree FULL Variants to remove all the vanilla trees included in thoses areas.



Install

No vanilla Trees

Download, Pick 1 esp for each wanted variant, put in data, enable.

You can mismatch the variants:

- Noaspenlite
- Nosnowtreefull
- Nodeadtreefull
- Noreachtreelite

A complete install is not necessary, for example: you can use nopinelite alone too.
Put near the bottom of your loader order, to override changes made by others mods, before bashed patch and dyndolod.
Dont forget to enable the ESP

Do not use Lite and full together for the same variants of plugins. Nothing will break but it's useless.


No Pine trees: Rorikstead to whiterun tundra

Dl, extract, put in data, enable, gotcha. If you installed No pine lite or full, remove it and use nopinewhiterun instead.

No Soltheim and no Dawnguard trees

Thoses plugins disable the new trees from the DLCs. If you want to remove all the trees from areas added by the dragonborn and Dawnguard DLC, you still need no vanilla trees Full.



 Generate a new Tree lod with SseLodGen or Dyndolod
for full versions, generate Tree Lod for ALL WORLDS, not only tamriel.

To update tree LOD only, start DynDOLOD for the current load order with its output and plugins active.
Click through to advanced.
Select worldspaces that need to be updated.
Uncheck Generate static LOD and Generate DynDOLOD, while leaving Generate tree LOD checked.

Install output, replacing all older output.



Compatibility

- Full version touchs every cells with trees in the game, the compatibility is not ideal. Load before mods with cell edits.
- Lite version is compatible with almost everything.
- Dont use Skybird or similar mod with it, be logical.
- However, to ensure full compatibility with Location data, it requires a bashed or smashed patch with Wrye bash. Such patch should be used anyway in a "stable" load order so it is not a negative.
Without a bashed patch, you wont be able to construct hearthfire house! same problem happens with all mods editing the areas of thoses houses without hearthfire as master! Stay protected, use a bashed patch. Wrye bash here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6837/
