Hey everybody, finally got around to updating. I've rebalanced the items a bit further, and incorporated the new weapons from Fishing / AE. No new enchants for those yet, however. Please let me know if I've missed anything. Thanks!
Hey there Scoots (phenomenal name, by the way), any chance Northern Steel 1.5 could be pushed to the Bethesda.net platforms any time soon? I'm also a console peasant like oltvbois, a resident PS4 user in my case, so I'd love to see that update.
Hey oltvbois, it looks like neither the fishing creation or this should affect one another. I can do a patch to balance the new weapons, if you'd like (it might take a bit, as it's been a while since Skyrim has been a priority).
Sorry for the delay! I've incorporated the new Fishing items, though I haven't had a chance to add enchanted versions. What console are you using? I'll see about uploading to Bethnet.
Ohhh nice... I'm a little late to the game on this one but I love it.
I do have a recommendation though, for the Nord hero shield, have you thought of using the banded shield model instead of the iron shield? it fits the ancient Nord aesthetic much more closely than the iron shield. In fact, it's to the point I'm surprised it's not actually called and used as the ancient Nord shield in the vanilla game...
Hey jtjrawlins, apparently I haven't looked at this for a long, long time. If I go back over the mod, I will absolutely switch the Hero shield to the Banded model. Thanks for the suggestion!
Is this compatible with Better Shaped Weapons/Weapons of the Third Era? Just curious because it seems that the sword is glowing purple, as if it's missing textures on my game.
Sorry, I haven't been on the SE site for a while apparently! I know it doesn't conflict with BSW, not sure about Weapons Of The Third Era. I don't see why it would have a problem, though.
I like the concept & that it does not seem to interfere w/ Brandybuck's Heroic mods or Destero's Draugr weapons. I found however, that the armor dropped in Forelhost did not have your new mesh, despite being loaded after the mods mentioned. That's not a complaint, merely an observation from my game. Endorsing now & hoping for success with your mod.
Thanks for the kind words! I keep forgetting to mention that the armor mesh is from Ancient Nord Armor Complete. I've been using it for so long that I forget it's from a mod, haha. I'll update that later.
No worries. My Dovakiin is in no way underdressed already, w/ Wolf armor w/ pants & Nordic wanderer armor from Oldrim & now Shock's Dragonbone Barbarian set here, everything is fus roh dah. Man, I love modders.
