Hey everyone! At this current time, me, Wolfe and a small team of people are currently in charge of production of Nebarra as sheepswirl at this current time as "retired" from modding.
I will be making the one who will be doing all the implementing and maintenance of Nebarra.
Big Question dont know if its been asked yet but is there any intention for him to react to inigo i have yet to use him as i Have use lucifer Also would love to see him react to the Rigmor Quests
I'm really liking Nebarra, so far after finally trying him out. Have a few questions, though. I'm still pretty early in my playthrough so I might be missing something. I just got the quest to retrieve the horn for the Greybeards. Nebarra hasn't made any comments about the main quest at all yet. Just wondering when he's supposed to comment. If I have to talk to him at specific points or something. Second, I noticed in the bug section that there was something about a CFTO patch buried in the comments somewhere but I went through every page and didn't see a link to one. Was it removed? I haven't reached a point where that'd be a problem yet and didn't know about it until I started reading the bug reports to see about the main quest commentary not firing. I'd like to get that patch before I get back into the game and have to worry about it.
Good evening! I really like Nebarra as a follower, thank you very much for your effort. Right now, I'm exploring the fort in the quest "Cramped Chance". May I ask indications about how to proceed, please? I can't seem to find anything in order to advance the quest. Am I looking for a key?
I can't for the life of me figure out how to travel to Modren Island.. I talked to a vanilla ferryman, namely Jolf from Solitude and Gort from Windhelm but they had no option about Modren Island. Could this be a conflict with the Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul mod? Edit: so yeah it was the mod conflict.. I just disabled the mod did the quest and enabled it back on without a problem.. it was no biggie.
I finished the island quest but now I can't dismiss Nebarra or tell him to wait. Lol I'm editing this so much. So I fiddled around a bit.. I told him to wait using the follower command function then talked to him about his location and now the dialogue to dismiss him and wait are back. Weird.
The last I saw the mod author address marriage, his response was (paraphrasing) "No, no way, not ever". Neb is too jaded and too cold to feel love. And I love that about him.
Nebarra had me the moment I told him to wear casual clothes and he still kept his helmet on. No idea why but this cracked me up a lot. Normally, I don't associate with Altmer N'Wah and generally try to purge them for the glory of the 6th house and the tribe unmourned. But this guy seems to make me laugh at every turn. I like for once having a follower that doesn't have constant witty dialogue or obnoxious one liners. It's refreshing to have a character that's a sarcastic ass hat.
Sheepswirl Nebarra is an awesome follower and I loved how snarky that war veteran is XD. I read the sticky note and wish you best of luck.
Mr. VideoFreak and team Good luck with the continuation and expansion of Nebarra. I know of Mr.VideoFreak work Lucifer follower is in my load order and I love his work.
Can I report a minor issue with new update? The quest Cramped Space is indeed fixed and return back to Solitude and Nebarra AI is not bugged anymore. The problem is I can't issue Wait command and I can't Dimiss him. It's not in the dialogue tree. It has other options like asking to live in home, settings and personal question. There is no option of "Wait" and "Your service is not longer required". I hope you'll look into it. Cheers!
Can someone tell me how to get to the Morden Island? I have no idea how, I'm not sure if I'm missing something obvious, or if mod is broken in my game, but I talked to every ferryman I could find (both the dawnguard ones with small boats and the capitans of large ships) and no one has the option to get there. I tried googling this stuff and looking it up in FAQ, but nothing has been helpful so far. Great mod btw.
Mods that edit the Ferryman overwrite their dialogue button about Modren Island. Mods like Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul (CFTO) especially. In the case of that mod specifically, the vanilla-game ferrymen are replaced by new ones added from that mod, that's why the dialogue option about Modren Island isn't there.
Did you add or remove a replacer or something mid-playthrough? This happened to me with other followers before when I installed/removed a replacer/overhaul mid-playthrough, game froze or CTD when approaching the affected follower. Or mods that change the elven armor, or Thalmor banner? Those can edit his outfit(s), and changing the activation of those mods mid-play might cause a game freeze or CTD.
Same thing happens to me, rollback helps. But another weird problem is that it says it is missing ssGWAltmerFollower.esp upon loading the save. That is the exact same name as the last revision, and it is checked on both the left and right-hand side of my MO2 pane with the exact same capitalization.
Stared at it for 2-3 minutes with my glasses because I could have sworn my mind was breaking.
I updated the mod, game hasn't crashed yet, but Nebarra is gone in my playthrough, like as if he never existed. Neb is neither with me, nor at the burnt caravan, his Teleport spell is gone, I would assume he's not at Old Hroldan either though I have not checked. The option for the ferryman to take us to Mordren Island is no longer there either. Starting a new game right now to check if he is at the burned caravan in Falkreath, this might have been the type of update that requires a new game start... UPDATE: Nebarra isn't at the burned caravan on this new playthrough... I think this latest Nebarra update is meant for the newest update of the game, which I have not got (and won't for a while).
@Mazdian will see if I can fix that. --- @theskyrimdepot sounds like the MO2 deleted the ESP file. Yep. It's confirmed that any new mod update made on the new CK, requires the latest version of Skyrim... great. --- @SirCadsimar I don't think the game version should matter, unless Bethesda have done some weird stuff. I am using the latest version of the creation kit, so I don't know if that's had any effect on mods.

@theskyrimdepot I have gotten Nebarra working in my game again, on my new playthrough at least. I deleted the newly updated version (of Nebarra), then downloaded and installed the version I was using before, again (version 1.4.2.1). I loaded the game (save file was right at the burned carriage), and he appeared and then walked to where he's supposed to be sitting injured, then he sat down on the blood splatter that's on the ground lol. Further information of what I did: I deleted the newer version of Nebarra while the previous version was downloading (again), if that has to do with anything.
@MrVideoFreak yeah I am not going to install the new game updates for a while, certainly not any time soon.

I recommend doing it later and not rushing into it.

EDIT: After testing by forwarding changes, CTD still occurs. Rolled back to 1.4.2.1 for now.
