Hi Kulharin, I appreciate what you do and I use a lot of your mods. I really like the idea of RDO Lite, but I just wanted to let other users know: Make sure to check any RDO patches in xEdit; since RDO Lite removes some records, patches that rely on the original RDO may need to be edited in xEdit to remove invalid references.

Where can I download AI Overhaul patch? AI Overhaul has 2 patches on it's page.

I am familiar with this one  https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/35823, which I use... what's the other one?  As a general rule I only use mods by mnikjom if there is no alternative viable option... He is not pleasant to interact with.

Well in that page there's a patch for both RDO and RDO updated. I guess the question is which patch should be used, if the one for the original or the updated.

I'm also curious as to which patch should be used for this version of RDO?

Same question. I would patch them myself but I'm worried I'll mess something up since I don't know what all the conditions do.

The fact that this is not clear (which AI Overhaul patch to use) is reason enough for me to skip this. I suspect I know which one to use (AI Overhaul - Relationship Dialogue Overhaul Patch) but that was made for a different mod and I don't want to get 30 hours into a game and find out I was wrong.

I'd love to know which one to use as well.  Thank you

Am I the only one having trouble properly recruiting Valerica?

At first the dialogue option to even recruit her never showed up. I looked into SSEEdit and saw in her Dialog Topic [INFO:2B567F72] (child of "RDOFollowerRecruitTopic" [DIAL:2B0C804A]) that one of the conditions is:
    Subject.GetIsID(DLC1Valerica "Valerica" [NPC_:02003B8B]) = 0.000000
and that alone prevents the dialogue option from ever appearing, since she is Valerica. So I set the value to 1, but the dialogue was still missing. Reasons now were the conditions:
    Subject.GetInFaction(PotentialFollowerFaction [FACT:0005C84D]) = 1.000000 AND
    Subject.GetRelationshipRank(PlayerRef [PLYR:00000014]) >= 1.000000 AND
Even after completing the quest "Kindred Judgment" (on the vampire side), her relationshiprank never increased from 0, and she also never was in the PotentialFollowerFaction. So I deleted those two conditions and the dialogue to recruit her finally appeared.

My problem now is that even recruited her package still stays DLC1VQ05PostValericaCastlePackage, so she doesn't follow properly and always goes back to her study in Castle Volkihar. I already checked for possible conflicts but couldn't find anything.

      +1

I guess I have to go back to the original RDO...

I'd recommend getting the RDO MCM version.

This mod appears to cause an issue with Carlotta Valentina, where she calls you "love" as if you're together.

Using Nether's follower framework, it provides a patch for RDO. Should the loose scripts be overwritten by that mod?

I am honestly not sure.  I have tried to get clarification on the RDO patch in NFF but without success... The FOMOD says to only install the NFF RDO patches IF you're having issues.  I never have had issues so I don't use em.   I have no idea the difference in dialogue comment frequency between the two

Actually Nether's FOMOD provides two options for RDO. One option is for the follower recruitment/dismissal which is recommended to be installed ONLY if one is having issues with that aspect. The second option is regarding RDO comments which basically alters/merges some comments I believe by replacing some scripts. (I chose the second option only). Will have to do some extensive testing now.

-The cutting room and USSEP patch are no longer needed and should not be used with this
-The AI Overhaul patch is still required and works fine

But AI Overhaul requires USSEP to run, should I install them both?

The original RDO has an optional patch that resolves compatibility issues with TCRF and USSEP. That patch is not necessary with this version. You can still install TCRF and USSEP.

"The AI Overhaul patch is still required and works fine"

BRUH... You didn't add a link for this. WHERE?

EDIT: LOL sorry, my mistake for having too many tabs open

Does this work with Skyrim Se version 1.5.97? Also I've seen you say that the original RDO "effects followers" and this version does not. Can you state specifically what you mean. As in does this mod take away dialogue that followers use from the original or something else that was considered feature bloat?

Just double checking, does this mod require the original RDO to function?

Almost a year late here but yes the patch still seems to be necessary. Without the patch I got Laura Bailey dialogue. Just minor dialogue like when bumping into her or after finishing conversations, but annoying nonetheless. The patch stopped it.

How does this mod works with Jayserp added lines? If at all.

Works great! I have this, plus all of Jayserpa's extra lines. I haven't had any issues at all, and my game is very stable.
