Hi Kulharin, I appreciate what you do and I use a lot of your mods. I really like the idea of RDO Lite, but I just wanted to let other users know: Make sure to check any RDO patches in xEdit; since RDO Lite removes some records, patches that rely on the original RDO may need to be edited in xEdit to remove invalid references.
For AI Overhaul users, download AI Overhaul - RDO Updated Patch. Don't use the 1.0.1 version for standard RDO. The reason being that both RDO - Updated and RDO Lite use Markarth Worldspace for a conflicting dialog record, not Markarth Location. Secondly, open xEdit and delete all Package records under the RDO Updated patch. RDO Lite 1.67SE does not contain any necessary package records that need to be merged with AI Overhaul (in fact, the former contains none).
Load Order: RDO Lite (USMP RDO patch) AI Overhaul AI Overhaul - RDO Updated patch
This indeed only applies to the .esp only, non-script version of AI Overhaul. Double check your conflicts to see what does and doesn't need to be merged and removed. I hope this saves everyone after me a lot of time!
Update: Bruh, just loaded this in game, game went on infinite load lol. There ends up being more errors if we just delete packages. recommend removing it general.
I haven't got CTD issues when following my own instructions to the letter. RDO Lite doesn't contain packages anyway, which is why any AI Overhaul patch for RDO Lite shouldn't contain packages either. You're very likely comparing RDO Lite to the wrong plugin, or you're using the script-based AI Overhaul and not the pure SKSE plugin based variant provided by its FOMOD installer.
Only gripe I have is that Kulharin and the other managers of this listing aren't acting in their position as "authors", and aren't more proactively fixing dialogue condition issues.
There's apparently an error in RDO Lite. It removes the "Swap Subject and Target" flag from the IsKiller conditon from all of the INFOs inside [DIAL:000330A9] (NPC dead body comments). However the wiki says and my tests with a scripted magic effect show that the "Run On" object must be the corpse and the parameter "Actor" must be the killer, which is how it is in the original RDO. Haven't managed to trigger this dialogue for a killer either way, even with removing all other conditions that could prevent that, so i can only rely on the wiki and a conditional magic effect test. Removing the flag reverts that and break this condition. Did you have any reason to remove this flag, maybe you have different information?

Why would these mods require the full version of RDO? They don't rely on RDO's optional followers, Terek, Grelka's quest, or anything listed in the description as removed. They rely on the expanded voice types for dialogue, the mod's core feature. It would be great if someone with insight could clarify. Is it just because they rely on the original plugin's name?
It really varies, you'd have to look at the conflicts in xEdit. RDO seemed to have a a lot of feature creep in it, and if a patch assumes/forwards those records it could cause issues.
I'm currently getting an issue where Sapphire and Senna's voices are occasionally swapped for the female young eager voice when greeting or ending a conversation.
There is comment saying that we have to download "RDO updated" patch from the "AI Overhaul patch hub" but the Vortex manager keep saying there is a dependency on RDO updated for the aforementioned patch. Can anybody clarify the situation please? Do we have to install RDO updated and override or ignore the dependency or?
Autor keeps RDO Lite up to date but can not answer clearly on the most important question. Thank you for all your hard work.

I know it is easy to say "download xEdit". Most user dont want to work with it and want to endorse ur work. It is shame u sacrifice so many hours to create something and can not clarify simple things then (or convert 1-5 patches). Personaly when I start something I can not stop doing the think. That is why I do not want to start working with xEdit. I would be forced to spend 100s of hours to clean all of the awesome modes avaible and make them compatible with the latest versions of Skyrim instead of going to work. :)
LOOT will give a warning saying the AI Overhaul - RDO updated patch requires RDO updated as master - but xEdit shows no conflicts or errors and the STEP guide uses both RDO lite and the AI overhaul RDO updated patch seemingly without changing anything.
LOOT and Vortex are tools used by general users with no other modding capability other than to download and update files provided by mod authors. It is unfortunate but neither of the AI Overhaul patches are suitable for RDO Lite without editing them with xEdit. Either follow my instructions or don't use RDO Lite. That's my suggestion as a mod author.

When I use "AI overhaul Lite" from the FOMOD... the mod is compatible without any patches (as far as I can clarify) e.g. SDA patchub, IFD Lydia, Misc Dialogue Edits, Immersive Speech Dialogues etc. all should be directly mentioned in the description. It takes much less time than keep ur work up to date. Your work is must have for any builds. No matter how fantasy or vanilla they are. Thank you for all the time spent and effort.

Or can we use the original MCM from main mod?
What should we use if using this mod, and AI Overhaul. Should we use the "updated" or the "normal" RDO option?
