Q: What's the difference between this an Simple Offence Suppression? A: This mode requires Simple Offence Suppression to function. It not only blocks friendlies from turning hostile when you attack them, it also blocks you from damaging them.
Q: This mod is preventing XYZ from happening; for example: preventing the player or follower from killing an NPC. A: Use MCM to turn friendly fire back on.
