Technically yes it is. However Embers replaces the campfire meshes so all you'll get is the new bonfires and the fixed Helgen meshes. It's not something I can really fix cause my mod is loose files and his is an esp. You could try asking him about a patch though.
Didn't change anything with the meshes, it's the textures that are conflicting. Just let this overwrite Giant Campfires Cast Shadows and you should be golden.
Sure, except that it does contain three meshes / nif files relating to giantcampfire01, namely giantcampfire01burning.nif, giantcampfire01burningnoland.nif and giantcampfire01off.nif. Two of those conflict with meshes altered by Giant Campfires Cast Shadows. Maybe those meshes were used in Helgen and that's why they are included?
Freaking HECK! What are those doing in there. My apologies, I don't remember doing anything with them. I honestly don't know what I could have changed in those. Definitely don't overwrite the textures from this mod with the ones from the other. But yeah the meshes you can patch manually, or you can overwrite these meshes. I'll try and find out what I changed.
@TheBone98, if you're looking for a replacement for the Riften leaves on the ground, I love using mathy79's Organic Riften Leaves. If you're talking about the leaves/pine needles that occasionally float through the air, I personally like using rudy102's Falling Leaves and Needles SE paired with Dandelion Seeds by Ramccoid. I hope these are helpful to you as a temporary while you possibly wait.
