About this mod

A small esl-flagged patch that splits the original outfit into a separate item for each design with a matching male/female version for each.

If you've seen any of my other clothing/armor patches, you know what I'm going to say already: I like when things match. I like when what I see in my inventory (or the chest I'm rummaging through, or the corpse I'm looting, etc) looks at least close to the end result of what's going to show up on my character or follower when I equip it. To that end, I've taken the original (stunning) outfits created by steelfeathers for Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil and fiddled with the meshes to make matching versions of the male outfit for females, and the female outfit for males. I also edited the textures on the dress slightly to decrease the visual emphasis on the now-flattened bosom, but I freely admit that textures are a bit beyond my current skillset. If you want the original textures instead, you can either re-path the meshes or just duplicate the original texture files and rename them to replace the new ones.

You will need the original Imperial Fine Clothes mod installed to use this alteration. Note further that this patch is only for the non-replacer version of the original mod...largely because I'm just not that happy with the male dress, but it didn't make sense to only do half the outfit so. Here we are.

The new versions were built for the vanilla bodies but given that the female one doesn't show a lot of skin, it will probably work for UNP as well (if anyone using that wants to confirm, please let us know!). I do not use body-mods myself so I've never bothered to learn how to use Bodyslide so I will not be making dedicated versions for UNP, CBBE, etc., sorry. You are welcome to make those yourself, and I will gladly host them here if you like. You may also upload those as patches yourself, but you will have to get permission from steelfeathers before you upload them!

If you are uploading a mod that is solely an outfit modification and wish to make use of my re-formed meshes, I ask that you make this file a download requirement. This is to reduce chances that I will be accused (again) of "stealing" someone else's work because they used assets I created. If you wish to use these assets in a non-outfit mod (a follower, an overhaul, a quest, etc) you do not need to make this patch a requirement; just give credit, please!

UPDATE: here are now optional versions that alternatively replace all the dresses with tunics, or all the tunics with dresses.

There is also a loose files version of the patch that you can download manually that contains nothing but the meshes! You will need to use the Creation Kit or SSEEdit to attach those meshes to the original mod (or wherever else you want to put them) and while I am happy to have my work edited or improved, you may not upload the results without obtaining permission from steelfeathers first! Full ownership of these assets rests with steelfeathers, not me!

CREDITS & THANKS:
steelfeathers for making and sharing the original outfits, and being generous enough to allow me to upload this alteration.
BodySlide and Outfit Studio by Ousnius and Caliente for providing the tools I used to create this conversion.
