Using Moonlight Tales will grant a perk which allows you to revert back whenever. I found an infinite duration mod, but it doesn't seem to really work, sadly.
As stated below there is already an item ingame that does the same; Ring of Hircine. You can fix the bug described in your screenshot by adding the magical effect given my the Ring of Hircine to the character permanently. It should not conflict with wearing the Ring of Hircine (double buffing) and it should fix the bug in the mod you have made. As how the Ring works as of now it only works if you are cursed with Lycantrophy while wearing it and will not make the player learn the transformation or keep it before/after his or her time as a Werewolf.
Now this is not meant to sound like your mod is in any way useless or worthless, quite the opposite. What this mod can be is instead of a slightly bugged mod it will become a tool for mod-lovers like me to not feel like you have to "grind" the quest line to obtain the ring along with a bunch of other unique items. It will also become a way of keeping the powers of the Ring and not have to wear it for asthetic or practical reasons. (Wether it looking ugly to them or the player just wants an open ring slot). It will also make the power available to people who cannot access the quest due to bugs in other mods, accidental npc removal or that kind.
I hope you might find this useful. Happy modding (:
I'm currently trying to work on my own WW-Mod. I also thought about using the ME of the Ring, and also make it possible to revert the transformation without having to wait an hour (since you can't do that with enemies around). It wouldn't matter then that you can't loot, though, being able to loot would be good too. There are already mod which do this, but they change way more than just that...
Ah, I'm writing too much. Gotta try and figure out how to add that ME to the player.
I'm having an odd and infuriating problem, occasionally when I enter my beast form, I only have time to eat 2 bodies that are right next to me when I change before I get kicked out of the ability and turn back to normal. It is possible that it's some other mode that I have active/installed that's causing it, but this seemed like the most pertinent mod to my problem as it littlerly messes with an in-game timer relevant to the transformation to make the power more convenient.
Not necessarily, because https://en.m.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Unique_Items#Ring_of_the_Hunt allows a Werewolf: "While in Beast Form, your health regenerates."
You don't need one. If you use this with Moonlight Tales (which is 100% compatible) You just got to look straight ahead in WW form and sheath your claws and you will revert your form.
Why do i keep looking like the werewolf in the picture? Isn't it supposed to go away after a few seconds?
Edit: I just found out that apparently moonlight tales i think it was equips a strange werewolf skin after you've been a werewolf. Simply unequip it and you should look normal again.
there's no fix for that image. i've tried looking for a good hour and i cant find anything. if i transform back into a werewolf and i revert back, i still look like that. i'le just stick to using hircing's ring.
