I just noticed that the bolts (or whatever you call it) on the front of the pauldrons are out of place behind them. You can also see the holes in the pictures.

I noticed that with Read the Room, the helmet will do this. Is there any way to fix that?

I too was curious about the hairstyle. I have a lot of presets that I would like to try that hair with. If it is KS then that narrows it to 792 styles to look thru. Not to mention Apachii as well. So name would be helpful. Docteure and Jeir thanks for always bringing CBBE bodyslide goodness to us.

I don't speak much English, but it's mutual. All the screenshots are amazing, and the graphics on them are enb silent horizon. The author is a girl as I understand it, well done I really liked the whole page with the mod^^

I actually use Intrigued ENB. But yes most other users use Silent Horizons ENB.
ousnius uses heavily edited Mythical ENB.

Can anyone help me? No matter what I do with bodyslide (I've followed the exact instructions and I've also watch a half dozen tutorial videos) the armor will still come out as UNP, not CBBE. I have all the requirements and bodyslide works fine with all other armors except DX armors and the conversion slides. Can someone give me a few steps on what I might be missing? I really would like to use this armor but with one character having a completely different body than all the others is off putting.

      1. Make sure this mod (CBBE) is loaded/deployed/whatever after the original (UNP) mod.
      2. If using Vortex/MO, make sure the files BodySlide generates are loaded/deployed/whatever after this mod and the original mod.

      Thank you for responding...

Yes, that is exactly what I have done. I've done this with many mods successfully but for some reason it just does not work (for me) with the DX and the conversion mods. I just attempted your steps and the instructions on the front page again which has worked for every other mod, but this one still comes up as the UNP model. I have everything in the correct order as well etc.

I'm really not sure what/where I am missing something now. I know that you add the conversion as a way to give credit to DX's main mod, but is there anyway you could send or link your completed CBBE meshes for this so I can put it in my load order. This is one of the best armor mods out there and both you and DX do great work, I just cannot seem to get it to work myself :(

This mod, like all of our conversions, already comes with pre-built meshes. The only thing you get from the original mod are textures. Are you sure you're not confusing our Slim meshes for UNP? Although, that still would not solve the issue that your own BodySlide-built meshes are not being used.

I understand that, that is why I'm so confused XD. Yes I'm sure I'm not confusing the meshes. Like I said, I only have this error with the DX conversions, all the other armor mods that I use with bodyslide I  have had no errors. It must be something on my end, but I just cannot seem to figure it out :/

I'll keep trying to figure it out, but I think it's out of my skill set (or maybe just my eyes lol).I appreciate the quick responses though, and thanks for being another great skyrim modder! Hope to see these armors/conversions around come ES6!

The only reason I can think of is what I said in my first comment.
In the 'normal'(/old) way of doing this, such as by using Wrye Bash or installing mods manually, and thus without MO/Vortex's 'virtual installation' stuff, it would be like this:
      1. Install original mod. Mesh shape is UNP.
      2. Install this mod. UNP meshes (and plugin) are overwritten completely (they are gone, no where to be found, it's impossible for you to see them unless you have the original mod at hand), and replaced with CBBE ones.
      3. Use BodySlide to build new shape. Original CBBE files (Slim) are completely overwritten and replaced with new CBBE files.

With the virtual installation feature of Vortex/MO, nothing gets overwritten on your system. Those files are always there. The mod managers just trick the game into using the last files to be loaded/deployed/whatever in your mod list. For some reason this is not happening for you.

I'm afraid that as I use Bash, I can't really help with specifics with other mod managers. In theory, as long as you've set BodySlide up correctly (running it through your mod manager, and having BodySlide point to the correct directory), and have this mod and the BodySlide-generated files loading after (i.e. in your mod list, below) the original mod, it should work.

So does the 3rd file, DX Dark Knight Armor and Shield Plugin - ESPFE, replace the espfe of the original mods including the CBBE file?

The main file plugin is in .esp format. The optional files replace it with plugins in .espfe format. That one in particular replaces both the main file's plugin, and the shield mod's plugin.

What am I dong wrong, please? Vortex is telling me the espfe is redundant. How do I change the order to fix this? And dso I need the espfe file?  I'm struggling with virtex so I would appreciate help.

      I love the armor.

An espfe is a plugin that does not take a slot in your load order (like an .esl, but unlike an .esp or .esm).
I don't use Vortex, and never have, so can't help with it. Can't you just tell it to install the plugin anyway? All it does is overwrite the main file's plugin.

It seems I have an issue with my load setups. Sometimes Vortex will read ANY mod as "redundant" because the setup is wrong. I changed a few things and for the moment it stopped screaming something is redundant, so I hope it works.

      Thanks again for this

Yes, but you wont get the excessive jiggling or extra sliders that mod has.
